Hired Ali to remove wallpaper and to decorate two bedrooms next to some other tasks. It all started quite well with him making good progress in getting off the wallpaper, filling and making good the walls but then it deteriorated rapidity. Project management was chaotic, protection of surfaces spotty and the young guy he brought in to finish the decoration clearly lacked decorating skills and attention to detail. Walls were stripy, paint splashed on carpet, newly set sockets were painted over, Mastic applied around doors and skirting looks dirty and messy and and and….It was me instead of Ali that did the quality control but it was a hopeless task as Ali’s staff clearly lacked experience and knowledge. At the end I’ve just wanted to get them out and accepted a substandard finish. Ali is a nice guy and tries his best, but based on my experience, I could not make a recommendation

Very poor. I agreed to pay half upfront as it was only a small job. Priderock were to supply the decorator and wallpaper paste. The 'decorator' arrived without paste. He had no transport, so in the end I had to stop work and go to the shops to get some. His instructions were very unclear, leading me to spend more than necessary. Finally he got to work, and did a terrible bodge. The boss refused to issue a refund, even though I sent him a video of the 'repaired' wallpaper being so brittle that it crumbled when touched. I'm worse off than I was before they arrived. Avoid this firm.

I was immediately impressed, he is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Gavin suggested options I hadn't even considered - in fact, he came up with a brilliant solution to my problem. He recommended suitable parts and options. The job was completed ahead of schedule to a fantastic standard. I couldn't have been more delighted with the work! The final fitted shower looks stunning. Gavin and his colleague Gary were a pleasure to deal with at all times, always punctual and extremely conscientious. I would give GCCS the strongest possible recommendation to all!
