Alan Whyte and YTE converted a Victorian piggery into a high specification 2 bedroom holiday let for us including a steel roof structure, fitted kitchen and bathroom, underfloor heating throughout and innovative rough cast wall rendering leaving the original granite exposed. All oak features (Lintels, Roof beams, internal doors and floor) together with custom bunk beds and bathroom furniture. This was a challenging build over the summer of 2015 and Alan rose to the challenge brilliantly. The team were all very professional and friendly, no communication issues with lots of flair and input to the building design. I recommend Alan and YTE without hesitation, we now have a beautiful holiday let and an asset to the estate.

Very please with the work Alan and his company did, the workmanship was excellent, would consider YTE Construction in the future for the other refurbishment work I need doing.

I can't recommend YTE Construction highly enough. During the quotation phase I expanded the scope of work to include gas & electric work as well as painting & decorating, so the job became much more than its title on the MyBuilder site suggests. Despite a number of unforeseen challenges that my house threw at them along the way, Alan & team took it all within their stride and the job was completed to the highest of standards. The whole team were professional throughout and I would have no hesitation in hiring YTE again for future work.

Alan and his team worked tirelessly to complete the work, even though it turned out to be more complicated than originally thought. The work took 3 days to complete instead of the 2 quoted for, but he only charged me for the original 2 day quote. He always kept me aware of what he was doing and didn't mind when I stood watching what he was doing, even though I realise I must have been in his way. He was always cheerful, even when things didn't go right, and overall he was a pleasure to have around the house. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering having work done in their home.

Alan kept us informed throughout the job and preserved with what turned out to be a troublesome IKEA kitchen. The end result looks good.

Alan and his team did a great job removing and replacing our garage roof and boarding out a section of the loft. They were very clean and tidy and reliable. We would certainly use them again.

Very happy with the works done. Completely redesign and refit new bathroom, came up with good ideas and comprehensive quote. Trustworthy and reliable, would definitely use again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The Cubicle that Alan and his team constructed was beyond my expectations, they did a fabulous job on that, and grouting the Salon floor. They carried out all the work in the evenings and at weekends to cause minimal disruption. Alan was also very kind in doing extra little associated jobs at no extra cost. Highly recommended, a firm you can trust.

Excellent work and completed on schedule. Alan made me aware of every stage and even though he had to do some extra electrical work which wasn't quoted for he went ahead and did it at no extra cost. Would definitely recommend yte construction and in fact will be using them in the new year
