I hired Jason to design a large single storey extension, he was one of only a few who were prepared to take the job on remotely due to COVID restrictions. I honestly cannot believe how good Jason has been, he answers emails any time night or day, he listened to what I wanted and gave options to make sure we had exactly what we were looking to build. From my experience I will recommend him to everyone who requires an architect. Jason made our build easy and to do that without ever meeting me or visiting the site is impressive. I have never written a review good or bad for anything, but I had to let anyone know that this is someone you will not be disappointed to hire.

Jason was very professional and very responsive, he completed all the work in 2 days and did all of it remotely, very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining all the technicalities, would really recommend. Thanks

Jason was quick and hassle-free acting as our architect. He came down to visit our house once to get the required drawings and measurements and was then readily available on email or on the phone. I'd also strongly recommend his structural engineer (also called Jason!) who was extremely helpful not only in his calculations but also in helping with our Thames water build over agreement.

Jason has been very helpful and supportive through my planning application. He has given me his suggestions and guidance on the best way to achieve my desired goal. I will be calling on Jason again, I highly recommend him to anyone looking to undertake any building work.

Although plans were eventually produced, the whole process was quite frustrating. And the "Load bearing calculations" supplied by Mr Bates's collegue were quite frankly a joke!!!! (As no builder I approached) would or could not understand the requirements applied, and therefore overall a waste of £379.00 for something that was NOT NEEDED, and would not be built? "Lesson learnt".

Completely ignored all attempts to contact him after the inital planning application was rejected despite saying he can help with revisions...

I hired Jason for a double extension drawing during Covid lockdown. Due to issues with planning permission the plans were changed and after requiring alterations and changes ( which he did in a very timely manner) it was approved. Jason kept me informed at every step of the way, he went above and beyond what I expected. Jason is extremely responsive, professional and approachable and I would absolutely recommend him and his work to anyone requiring an architect.

Efficiency plus and all completed remotely! We have had a great experience with Jason. Communication/onboarding was great and he was able to provide building regs drawings for our kitchen extension/understairs wc within two days for comment. The task was completed remotely so communication throughout was key and Jason was good at interpreting our own draft sketches and provided clear advice and guidance. Jason was able to update and turn draft drawings into final really quickly. He also challenged our structural drawings (completed by a third party) given his own expertise. Jason assisted us with submission to local building control and made the whole process effortless. We would highly recommend.

Jason provided an excellent service, designing a new extension to replace 3 different old building "add-ons". The design was carried out remotely due to Covid-19 with us providing measurements and photo's of key elements of the existing buildings. Jason generated a few iterations of the design for us to review and agree as well as handling the planning application and helping to find and appoint a builder to carry out the build. Jason also works closely with a structural engineer as part of YAD, which helped to smooth the overall design process. A good service, at a competitive price. We'd certainly use Jason again if we undertake any other works.
