My first impressions was wondering if I had invited a tramp into my house (he was messy having just finished a previous job and coming straight away - he told me he would be finished at his current job in an hour and in 50 mins he was at my door!). After 2 mins of explaining my issues I realised he was a straight up nice guy. Professional - Didn't want a cup of tea, just to do the job and move onto the next job which was already waiting. Get the feeling straight away this is a knowledgeable tradesman who has a lifetime's career experience delivering excellent work quickly and efficiently. Also get the feeling he works twice as hard as most tradesmen (I know a lot). Explained he had old spares in the van I could have for free so no need to buy several new parts. Awesome, professional, trustworthy, quick, efficient and cleaned up after me. Even took his time to teach me how to do the job (he could see I was keen to learn and taught me how to solder pipes - His joints were far cleaner than mine!)) In just one (long) day they relocated a gas boiler in a more convenient location in my kitchen and completely repiped gas, radiator and hotwater pipes. Bit of a messy/dusty job throughout the day but in the end it resulted in a very tidy plumbing job . Gas safe certificate came in the post about a week after completing the works. All good.
