    - Carpet 2 rooms - Carpet purchased, fit only **Customer description** It is a 100 carpet trim to separate tiles between bays in a showroom. There is also a mat to fit at the front door. We need to get it done ASAP.

    Told the guys we where not happy with the finish but they still took the money from my account. I have tried to call hopefully they will come back and sort. He told me they would take their time and get it done but overall a rush job really. The guy who came to do it was a good guy but wasn’t allocated enough time even though we where told he would be given the whole day to do it.

    Laminate floor to be installed in small property.
    I am over the moon, Ron phoned and I explained that I couldn't move in until the flooring was laid and I wanted to move in at the weekend, and this was Wednesday, Ron came the next day and measured up, I picked out the laminate he gave me a quote which I accepted. He then phoned one of his fitters to see if he could work on Saturday and the rest is history. I now have a beautiful floor throughout my home, Ron was great and very easy to talk to and the guys that laid the floor were very professional, polite and friendly. You can tell this is a family business which is professionally run, I would recommend Ron Taylor Carpets to anyone. Well done Ron and team and thank you so much.

    Re install kitchen flooring with laminate
    New laminate floor fitted. The gutters went back to to resolve an issue with the cooker area and worked patiently with us whilst we resolved a problem with the cooker pipe. All in all good job!

    Kitchen/hallway -may/june 2019
    Ron seemed pleasant gave such a low quote which i should have suspected. Man arrived removed small section of floorinhclaimed there was rising damp and unlevelled flooring and bug pests which i was shocked to hear and asked for him to rip out all of kitchen flooring. I had sent 3 tradesmen including check for damp one of which has provided damp testing equipment reports and also pest control private and council as i was worried about health concerns. All of them confirming no concerns at al and that i have to be careful with cowboy tradesmen. I was really disappointed by this carpet fitter avoid at all costs! We have gone with someone else now who is more professional

    We at Ron Taylor Carpets place customer satisfaction as our highest priority, so it is with great regret that I see this customer was not happy with the service we have provided. The job was to uplift the existing laminate floor, relay ply board and fit Karndean floor as a replacement. We offer a quotation, which was accepted and a start date for the work set. When our fitter uplifted the floor, he discovered areas of dampness and an infestation of cockroaches. Photos were taken and we advised the customer that this will need to be addressed before we lay the new floor. We did not increase our quotation, nor did we charge for the time wasted, and we were more than happy to return when the issues were resolved and lay the floor for the original price. Not really sure why this customer felt the need to leave negative feedback, as we only wanted to ensure that the job was done correctly, rather than lay on a damp sub-floor and face problems in the future. I have attempted to discuss this with the customer directly and reassure of our good intentions, but have been unable to have a conversation on the telephone and our messages have gone unanswered. Ron Taylor Carpets remain committed to delivering top-quality work and exceptional customer service at all times, as I hope can be seen from my other feedback.

    Supply and fit carpet
    Very happy with the work, a good quality carpet fitted quickly with no issues even though they had to work around a large wardrobe unit that was built in the room and too big to be moved out again.

    Laminate flooring poorly installed. Repair or replace?
    Dealing with this company was nice and clear in terms of the communication and the organising. Ron came round and gave me a very competitive quote to replace the carpet in my bedroom. He was friendly, thorough, efficient and honest. He didn't try to oversell or overcharge. E.g. he initially thought we might be able to get away without replacing the underlay but only once we removed the carpet and saw that it could do with replacing, did we add it to the order. Even then, the quote was much better than another, major retailer. If I ever need flooring services in the future, I will go to Ron and I would recommend him without hesitation. Thanks Ron!
