We hired Rae and his team for our loft conversion through word of mouth recommendation and also after having looked at a couple of his previous jobs and noting the quality of the workmanship. From the very beginning Rae and his team were polite and friendly, going out of their way to make sure that the disruption to us was kept to a minimum. Rae is brilliant at keeping you informed on daily progress via picture messages and emails. The finished job is just what we wanted and more. The quality of the finish is amazing, and his whole team from plasterers, electricians and of course, Trevor, Phil and Mark were so polite and lovely to have around. Even after the stairs were put in the house and much of the work needed to be done inside the disruption was minimal. The whole team work so hard, they really put in the hours to get the job done, the speed at which they work is amazing, but the work is not rushed. We are so pleased with his work that we have asked him to come back and build a single storey ground floor extension which they are just about to start. I would definitely recommend RCM Carpentry, without any hesitation.

Rae and his team are amazing! They recently completed a ground floor extension to our kitchen and dining room, the whole process from beginning to end was stress free for us, nothing was ever too much trouble, Rae kept in constant contact and even when we were on holiday he would send through pictures of the progress on a daily basis. Every trade that worked here was also pleasant and friendly and followed the same ethic of 'nothing was too much trouble'! We are over the moon with the finished product and it is more than we could have ever hoped for! I would not hesitate in any way to recommend Rae and his team! Thanks Rae, we will definitely be calling you again in the future for more work!

RCM Carpentry has just completed a large rear extension on our family home. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anybody who requires work doing on there house. The workmanship is fantastic and i could not ask for more from them. The project was completed on time and on budget. The team that work for Rae are professional, polite and friendly with a great work ethic.

We have had a 27 square metre dormer loft conversion with a large separate archive storage room built in the gable end. The room is a living room / library / entertainment room with floor to ceiling windows and double doors across the east elevation which open onto a large Juliet balcony. After looking at other loft conversion companies we chose Rae and his team because they were highly recommended by a work colleague. We went to my colleague's house to see an example of Rae's work and how he organised it and we left very impressed. Rae's attention to detail and commitment to high standards are exemplary. He explained the process in detail and he worked hard to maximise the space in our conversion. Our loft conversion was bespoke to our requirements and was not standard. Rae and his team are very hard working, he dealt with all the queries efficiently and the finish is very good. He takes pride in what he delivers and he handled all the external contacts like the council building department, sub - contractors and suppliers very effectively. As the project developed Rae came up with some very useful suggestions and then ensured the project was completed on time. We are very pleased with Rae and highly recommend him, he turned our dream into reality and the end result is fabulous as it adds a new dimension to our house and is a wonderful new living space. What can I say - what a positive experience that was! I have nothing but praise for Rae and his team. They started my extension in mid February and were finished 4 weeks later. The boys worked every single day during that period and made sure that disruption was kept to an absolute minimum at all times. Rae is completely trustworthy and kept me updated at all times with how the job was progressing. Clean, tidy and considerate throughout the whole project I cannot recommend him enough. No problems - just solutions and the best news of all was that the 'fixed price' he gave me was exactly that. If you are looking for a trustworthy quality builder - Rae is the man for the job! Cheers mate ........ good job!

Rae and his team were hired by us for a loft conversion which required replacing our existing staircase. The job was completed to a very high standard in time and on budget. Workmanship, cleanliness, problem solving, reliability, trustworthiness and helpfulness all score 10/10. We highly recommend Rae and would definitely employ him again.

We were extremely lucky to find Rae , has been a great help with every aspect of the build and his and his teams work is second to none . Here every day and the build has been quick and trouble free . On time , tidy and helpful , when he says something will be done by Ancertain time he means it . We are almost watertight with 12 days !Everything has been arranged for us like building regs and control . Cannot recommend Rae more highly , if you want a builder to do any work for you that is reliable , fast and helpful I wouldn't employee anyone else . Actually recommended to friends already as his work is that good .

Rae is an amazing chap. He came up with various options for our bungalow muddle. Totally professional, would highly recommend.

We are absolutely delighted with the shell of our new extension Rae and his team have created for us. It came in on budget and in record time. Rae and his team were a pleasure to deal with, professional, friendly but respectful. They arrived early and left late and worked very hard in between. We had outline drawings for them to work from and Rae guided us through what was necessary and made suggestions but left final decisions to us without bullying or what would have been easier for them to build. He dealt with planning regulation officers without drama when we had forgotten to do so! They took great pride in their work and the results speak for themselves. As in any build there was disruption with large lorry deliveries etc. but Rae showed great concern to not upset neighbours and did everything possible to keep this to a minimum. That was no mean fete in our location being on a shared private driveway. He was always available at the end of a phone or via email which was great when we weren't able to be there. He even sent pictures as tasks were completed. They had the key to the house and were completely trustworthy. Rae is very knowledgeable in all areas and has shared this with us which will now help us to do the internal work ourselves. Thanks Rae, Phil, Trevor and Dino for a lovely job.

From start to finish Rae and his very competent team have worked incredibly hard. They have produced a fantastic roof extension for us, that far exceeds our expectations. Throughout the project Rae has sought to improve every aspect of the build to maximise our new space. So many other companies wouldn't have asked for our input and gone ahead with what was simplest and the least time consuming. However, Rae has included us in most decisions that have personalised the end result. We really feel that Rae, Phil, Trevor and Dean wanted it to be right for us, and they have created a master bedroom and ensuite bathroom that we love. The roof extension was completed in record time but there was no compromise on a high quality finish and attention to detail. We would highly recommend RCM Carpentry and look forward to the day they can return and work on our next project!
