Richards workmanship is second to none, so yes I would highly recommend him . He also supplied and fitted a new wooden gate on the same day too.

Richard is a rare find in this day and age! Absolutely brilliant. Really quick response to out job request and did exactly what he said he would. Excellent communication. He is polite, friendly and, most importantly, clearly knows what he is talking about. He made and fitted a new garden gate for us at a very reasonable price. We will ask him to do any future work that is within his remit. He is the tradesperson you are looking for!

Richard did a fantastic job. Skirtings looked amazing, considering he had to tie into the skirting already in place. Bespoke shelf is marvellous. Understood what was required and worked until the job was complete; even hung some mirrors and undertook a couple of extra things, which we thought about last minute. So tidy, polite and efficient. Alas, second job (fitted wardrobe) Richard did not finish. One year later and still waiting for a rail and shelf to be fitted. Would not have commented here except it seems that he is working on other projects since we last had contact. Sad really, as he is such a nice chap but I see this might be a pattern after reading other reviews.

I am disappointed with Richard.I am very unhappy because he wasted my time and caused me trouble .he and other 2carpenters were interested to fit internal doors in my house.I shortlisted him based on previous reviews.we talked about the job.he came to my house and gave me a price and date.we both agreed,and that day was the last day I saw him.he didn’t answer or return any of my calls or texts.total ignorance! Please if you can give your job to someone else.this may teach him how to respect and value the good customers.

Richard was very polite, turned up on time, cleaned up really well after doing the work. Nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend

I found Richard, of RD Carpentry to be very efficient, trustworthy, exceptionally pleasant, and went out of his way to make sure things were ready for the arranged date for fitting of 8 doors. The 9th door had to remain, as trying to cut a new door the size and shape would not have looked right. It was originally arranged that I purchase the doors. However, due to a supply problem only a few of the doors were delivered. These were taken back by the supplier as the absent doors were not available until late May. I contacted Richard, informed him of the problem . Without hesitation, Richard via his trade contacts was able to find replacement doors, (not the ones we originally wanted) but were on our "good choice list". ON the day of fitting, Richard arrived on time and fitted all 8 doors very efficiently and without any mess. I cannot really add much to this other than, if I my family and friends ever need a carpenter, Richard will be the first person I recommend.

Very good, Richard phoned to say he would be a little late for first meeting, even though by only 20 minutes. Turned up a little early on the day. Very pleased with quality of work. Next door neighbour had him look at a job after seeing his work.

Richard is very professional and his work is outstanding. The doors he done for me are fantastic. A truly genuine guy and very helpful.
