2 reasons I selected Ron: 1) Ron was upfront with me of what he expected needed doing when he came to quote for a job - he was correct that the felt had rotted away and needed to be replaced by a long lasting plastic tray. I found that other tradesmen quoted less, but either couldn't spot (or didn't want to mention) the rotten felt Ron mentioned. This would have added on more expense later. 2) he had his own scaffolding which made working on the guttering etc. and also allowed him and his colleague James better access to re-cement the ridge tiles. Their work has been done to a high standard (with an attached guarantee) and they kept me informed about what they were doing and why throughout the job, which I really appreciate.

I am a landlord and live a long way from my rental property, so I need to feel that I can trust contractors to do a proper job without being supervised. Ronnie was brilliant - he responded really quickly to my post on the site and then got in touch with my tenant to arrange to have a look at the job the next day. He got straight back to me with a quote that was very competitive and was able to get the job done by the end of the week, despite having lots of other work on. My tenant was very happy and said that he was polite, professional and worked really hard. as I was unable to attend the property myself, he sent me detailed pictures before and after the work was completed. He dealt with my insurer when they needed details from him and he even phoned me a couple of weeks later to check that everything was ok and I was happy with the job. I would definitely recommend Ronnie and I will certainly be calling him first if I have any more issues or for routine maintenance of the flat roof.

Ronnie was great!! He responded within a day to the ad and came round a couple of days later to provide a very competitive quote. He arrived as agreed and completed the work as agreed. If there had been anything else of concern while he was on the roof i have confidence that we could have discussed it, but as it happens all was well and it was just the ridge and hip tiles that needed recementing. Ronnie and his apprentice were very professional and i would fully recommend them.

Ronnie responded quickly to my posting and came out the next day to assess the job. He diagnosed the problem carefully, sourced all the necessary materials and came back a couple of days later to carry out the work. Although he anticipated up to two days of work, he completed the job within one day to high standards. Throughout, he kept me updated on what he was doing and why, and was always well mannered. I was very happy with his professionalism and the quality of his work and will certainly use him again if further problems arise.

The work looks excellent, time will tell of course but I am happy with the price and the work carried out. I would recommend Ronnie, a very nice person to deal with who does what he says when he says. Very efficient.

Ronnie and his partner have just finished up on our roof. He was very professional and efficient. The job was completed when he said it would be. He tested the job to ensure there were no leaks, and he tidied up when he left. He charged a sensible price, so what more could we ask. We can thoroughly recommend him. If I need any further work done he would be the first to be contacted.

Ronnie and his team are honest and reliable,worked well to re felt and baton the roof and provide gutters fascia's. Did a few extra jobs for me providing use of his scaffold over the weekend so I could cut my conifers.These guys are very amenable and very reasonably priced compared to others and have good knowledge and understanding problems with leaky roof,dry ridge and roof designs in general . Ronnie sorted out my conservatory which was not sealed properly and was very knowledgeable about how this was fitted and what was required to fix the leaks.I would definitely use them again and cleared all the rubbish and made my gardens spotless. Well done guys

WHAT A LIFE SAVER! As water poured through the bedroom window (we inherited a botched flashing fix) I prayed for our new windows to be fitted soon and for a reliable roofer who could fix the rotting wooden beam that the big bay window sat on and replace the flashing that was acting as a rain funnel. I cannot stress enough the importance of timing and co-ordination on this job - if the builder let me down I had a BIG hole in my house IN DECEMBER! Ronnie came to the rescue, working around the window fitters to replace a rotten beam. He arrived on time, understood what we needed and did a great job. No hesitation in recommending - Thanks Ronnie!

Ronnie arrived promptly to review the job and give a quote for the work. He turned up when he said he would do to carry out the job which he completed very efficiently. he also gave useful advice about other work that could be needed without pressure. I would be happy to use him again.

Ronnie arrived the next day after contacting him. Completed the work required in the same day. Sent me photos on completion. A very good price. Ronnie also kept me up to date with progress. I will keep his phone number in case of more work I may need. I would recommend Ronnie to other people who require his type of work.
