We are very pleased with the work that Mike did on our roof. Considering the poor weather conditions he completed the work in good time. He always let us know if the weather was going to prevent him from working. Mike's knowledge and skills gave us confidence in the standard of work. He left the site tidy at the end of the job and we would have no hesitation in recommending MJP Roofing to others.

Hired Mike to do a reroof on a 3 bed semi in Bristol.He was a likeable chap,first impressions on the phone were good,that counts for a lot.He was someone who was approachable,didn't mind answering questions and offered good advice He did the job very quickly once hired ,was efficient,took away all rubbish and cleaned up well afterwards. I hired Mike for a job to investigate and fix two leaking roofs. He came round and was able to quickly identify the problems and give us a quote. It was then some months before we were in a position to hire him, but the moment I got back in contact he was back out to refresh what needed doing very quickly, and was able to complete the job within a couple of weeks. We even had an additional request to fit a down pipe and this was no trouble. He completed the job to a high standard and was very accountable throughout the job, making us aware of everything he was doing. I would highly recommend him again for a job, he offers good value for money, is very friendly and very professional.

I hired Mike to fix my leaking roof, which involved removing the tiles and replacing the felt with modern stuff. Mike was quick to reply to my job and arrange a visit. He explained why the problem occurred and how best to fix it. He also identified a problem with my extension roof and included a fix for that too. He provided a detailed quote for the work, which was somewhere in the middle of my other quotes. Mike arrived on time throughout the project. The work was completed to the original schedule, but on close inspection a minor problem was found with the new felt. Mike returned two days later (on a bank holiday) to fix the problem. It's still early days, but so far my roof hasn't leaked and Mike guarantees his work for 10 years. While the scaffolding was up I was keen to make use of it for other jobs, but my other builder couldn't make it. Mike stepped in and did the work himself, which saved me a lot of hassle. Mike is a nice bloke and is easy to do business with, so look no further if you need a reliable roofer.

Mike came out promptly to give a quote for replacing our chimney lead flashing and sealing another area of flashing, alongside flashing our porch. He was knowledgeable and courteous. Mike turned up on time, was polite, cleaned up after himself and did an excellent job of the lead work, which looks very neat and tidy. I would not hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to others.

I hired Mike to completely replace the existing roof on my 1930's semi detached. Mike was prompt in replying to my invitation for a quote, and arranged to come within a couple of days. He arrived on time, and was thorough in his examination of the house. I got several quotes for the job, and Mike's was reasonable, not the cheapest, and not the most expensive. I felt that it was a reansible price for the amount of work that needed to be done. He also brought tile samples and helped me decide what would look best for the house. Mike also provided me with references for jobs that he has done in my area. Is really helped me feel confidence that he was legit. He was prompt arriving to start the job, and when I arrived home from work he had left everything tidy. The work was very neat, especially the lead work around the chimney and along the back of the house (it looks much cleaner then many of the neighbouring houses). Overall I was very happy with the work done (I'm an engineer myself and have high standards and attention to detail). The roof has only been up for a week, and I feel like time will tell how good the job has been, but there has been some pretty heavy rain, and no leaks so far... Mike has given the roof a 10 year guarantee, so if there are any problems he assures me he'll come back to fix them free of charge. And finally he is a very plesent to deal with, quick to reply to emails, with an old fashioned craftsman attidude to the job.
