I'm really loving my new floors, Paddy did a brilliant job, I would definitely recommend him.

Fantastic. Not only did Paddy do all the obvious stuff well, like clear communication, being punctual, sticking to his price and laying an excellent floor; he also helped us create something completely original. We had two rooms knocked into one and wanted to match the wooden parquet in one of the rooms, but we didn't have the depth for wood. Paddy cut each individual tile and created a floor that matches our real wood one remarkably well. He took a huge amount of pride in the job and was clearly excited about getting involved with a unique project. Paddy doesn't just lay floors, he creates art. Oh, and by getting him to do it we saved over a thousand pounds on the price.

Paddy came round for a few hours on the one day and put damp proof membrane down. Then returned to level and lay flooring next day. Has totally transformed the room. Took all waste and rubbish away too. Great job!

Great work - I would strongly recommend McNicholas. Very professional and the work was done in the time they said it would be done.

Due to our floor being very uneven, on day one Paddy and Aaron had to do a lot of preparation work to get the floor level to ensure that no ridges would be seen on the finished floor. On day two they laid 25 m2 of Karndean flooring to a very high standard. The trimming of the flooring around the door frames, up to the skirting boards and around the pipes is perfect. I hired Paddy to do my flooring because he is very passionate about his trade and is not prepared to cut corners as he is not prepared to put his name to a poor job. We are very impressed and happy with the finished job and everyone who has seen it was also impressed. We have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Fantastic workmanship. He is a perfectionist and I was so pleased with the result. Would recommend any day.

We had a large kitchen diner extension done and wanted karndean flooring. Also the hall and porch was done as well Paddy was enthusiastic right from the start and said that it would be amazing when it was finished - he wasn't wrong. We had 45 degree in the main area and Paddy used his magic on the hall - creating a basket weave pattern -it is fantastic, more than I hoped for. His workmanship is fantastic, reliable and on time. Kept in contact all the time which gave us peace of mind; A very likeable person who loves doing what he does which makes all the difference. Would highly recommend

Paddy came and quoted for the job I advertised, unfortunately the first time he came to quote I was out and my wife gave the instructions on what we wanted. Paddy then the text me the full quote over and what it entailed to which I accepted and agreed a start date for Paddy to come. He came on time as promised and done an absolutely outstanding job, both myself and my wife were totally pleased with the end results. I would definitely have no problem in recommending Paddy and would use him again and again as it is very hard to find tradesmen these days who take pride in their work and pay particular attention to the details. I had a few very awkward angles to say the least, but Paddy wasn't phased one bit. Just a note....he does love a bacon sarnie with a nice brew.....Thankyou very much Paddy...I look forward to meeting you again. 👊🏻👍🏻
