We decided to invite Alex to give us an initial consultation on our two-storey side and rear extension project after being impressed with the reviews his practice had received on MyBuilder and another review site. We also arranged and booked a consultation with two other firms. Alex stood head and shoulders above the other firms. He was exactly as described in the reviews my wife and I had previously read. He was highly professional and personable and, after taking on board our vision of how we want to live in our home, gave us some great advice and insights on what our realistic options were for our extension project. When we engaged Alex, he and his colleague were very thorough in measuring up the property and we were highly impressed by the designs we received - every detail of our home was captured in the drawings for the existing plan, and the design he came up with for the extension was both clever and functional. He supported us through both the planning approval process, and the drawings for building regs. We now have full approval to commence building works. Alex and his team have been a pleasure to work with throughout. Highly recommended!

Alex did both planning permission drawings and building regulations drawings for an extension, loft conversion and internal remodelling. Due to the time taken for planning permission and building regs approval this was a long job in terms of timescale, but Alex stuck with it assiduously. Alex was responsive to my requests for changes to the plans, and very helpful with questions (especially given this was my first project of this type). I am very happy with the work.

Alex is excellent. We gave him our initial brief (rear/front/side/1st floor entension) which was turning our old fashioned house into a contemporary design build. He came up with ideas that exceeded our expectations. We have now submitted the drawings for planning approval, fingers crossed we are able to go ahead with our design build. Alex listened to our ideas and then took them to another level that we couldn't have imagined. Highly Recommended! After months of dealing with both Architects and Architect Technicians who would meet with us and then send quotes with no detail relating to the meet; it was refreshing to meet with Alex and his team. Alex had obviously spent time looking at what we sent over (our ideas etc.) before meeting with us and therefore the initial meet was highly constructive. Alex listened to us and gave real insights and ideas of what he thought - something others simply would not do. Importantly, to us anyway, Alex challenges you and helps explain why his design "tweaks" are necessary. Alex charges set fees, fully understands what can and can't be done and actually listens to your ideas. Alex has been absolutely fantastic in helping us with the design for our extension and very accommodating with change requests. He turns around questions extremely quickly and has been invaluable in guiding us through the planning application process. I really can't recommend Alex highly enough.
