He offered great advice on suppliers and was super quick and efficient with his team. He was very reasonable price wise too. His guys did a great job and were very friendly / polite during the week they were in. Im so happy with my new bathrooms and will be recommending Sel to anyone who has building works needed in the future. New flooring, skirting, door frames and doors. Painted all walls and ceilings. I had my whole flat renovated just before Christmas over 4 weeks. It being my first time I think I have been lucky to have worked with Sel and his team. He offers his trade discounts and delivers what he promises. His team are trustworthy and work fast. They tried very hard to overcome any problem encountered during the kitchen fitting with helpful suggestions and practical solutions. Few alterations to the design done with no complaints. Very punctual and always happy to bring the items we need and deal with suppliers on our behalf. The job he did for the office was ok and really sounded like a trustworthy guy. It was because of this Reason I gave him a second job, but unfortunately it’s at this job he becomes dishonest, he tries to charge me more money. I have since noticed that the job was not done properly, I’ve sent images and ask him to fix, unfortunatly he’s chosen to ignore me. I have since needed to ask another builder to come in to fix the matter. It’s dissappinting since I trusted him so much.Answer from tradesperson:
First of all, Emily needs to learn how to spell. Emily has indicated a budget and I have told her my price which was already over her budget and she has agreed. I have done the works but the building was bought through auction and there were structural faults with it which I have mentioned and she has agreed on works to be carried out. She has requested shower cubicles rather than just trays which was included in the price, I have told her this would cost extra and she has agreed to this as well. When it was time to pay up, she has cut £500 from what she oved me. There were 2 kitchen door knobs which were outstanding (pound each from B&Q) but I have refused to do it since she has become rather dishonest. All the above can be proven by the messages and emails that we have exchanged if anyone wishes to see them.
