Lucian was not the most competitive offer but seemed to know what he was talking about. I hired him to re-do a bathroom that was started by another builder and he agreed to repair what needed to be repaired and work from there. He found solutions to arising problems and has been asking me every time he had to do something differently than the initial plan, explaining why it needed to be different. This was very professional and appreciated.
An honest comment I would make is that a few items were missing and we did not know about it - eg. back boxes. So we had to work hard to be able to get the items delivered the next day. Even though this was a little bit stressful for us, Lucian managed to keep himself busy and not loose time on his schedule which was appreciated. I would only recommend Lucian takes some time to review the materials in advance.
On the rest, Lucian knew everything needed, he did all the waterproofing and membranes by the book. He has good tiling/painting skills. He made sure everything (walls, floors etc.) were leveled and straighten to make sure it would look perfect, even though it was a little bit more work for him. And he did not charge extra.
Overall impression is that Lucian is a very nice person, talented in what he does, and understands quickly what we want. We were happy have him around and trust him to have build a safe, watertight and reliable bathroom. So far no bad surprises to report: it is beautiful, and all working very well!
