Received a quote on the 26th of February last year, started work in March, said it would take 8 days to complete. That is where the good news stopped. Had a complaint or an excuse at every turn, a family bereavement, problems with his child, fell down our stairs, covid, car trouble, sickness, meetings with solicitors, bank holiday, the tiles we chose and many more. I was 5 months pregnant when he started and we went with him as we were in a rush to get in the house before the baby, so 8 days was ideal! He was unreliable for 28 days. My baby is now coming up to 7 months and the work is still yet to be completed. He turned up when he wanted, some days not at all, dissapeared for hours at a time started late, finished early, the house smelt of smoke, there were beer bottle caps when we were tidying up the mess after his last day here. Walls filthy up the stairs and the spair room, plaster chipped. He said that the radiator was missing its valve and had ordered a new one, 'arrived' after me nagging. The cap for the shower 'missing' still waiting for the one he ordered.... The grout is shocking!! Uneven and sloppy, although he will blame it on the tiles being 'warped' however ive seen many with the same tiles and theyre fitted alot better with no complaints! The sealant around the shower was so bad it leaked into downstairs, rang him to fix it in august, said he was in cornwall and he'd contact us, never heard back. My bf has had to sort everything.

due to start on 27 September, advised would take 8/9 days, did expect an extra week for a family bereavement he suffered and a few things that had shown up on stripping bathroom. 3 weeks he worked 2 days a week, week 4 he worked 3 1/2 days, week 5 he worked 1 day and a couple of hours on the 2nd day, promised to return later that evening & never did, this forced us to terminate the agreement. 2 separate occasions he promised us it would be completed by a certain date. Throughout the whole 5 weeks his communication was non existent apart from the odd time, he just turned up when he wanted to and gave reasons for not coming. We paid for all materials including a towel rail and extractor fan which we have not received and, to date have not received any refund for money that he has not spent on materials as well as paying a good amount for some of the labour for the completed job, some of which was not In the agreed payment schedule. We refused to pay the balance. We have a tiled bathroom, still to be grouted plus we still have to have the suite, apart from the bath which he fitted which we have provided to be fitted and we now have to purchase the towel rail & extractor fan and have this fitted as well. We have been using hotels for showering for 5 weeks as we do not have access to any other showering facilities, he was aware of this which has cost a significant amount of extra money. We feel we were very patient with him but feel he has betrayed this and failed as a tradesman

Provide me with a reasonable quote so I booked him in to do a bathroom refurbishment. Really nice guy. Very tidy and the end result of the new bathroom was excellent. Would definitely recommend him to others.

Very efficent and completed the jobs that were asked.

I hired Mike to fit a new bathroom, fix a leaking sink and a leaking radiator. After 4 months the only thing he completed was the installation of the radiator of the new bathroom. During these months, there were 5 times that he didn't show up without even calling to tell he wasn't coming, constantly ignoring calls and texts, never calling back. He disappeared after paying him £420 and not returning the waste of the new bath that he took. He might have been a reliable plumber based on the reviews, but now it's a scammer with poor ethical standards.

Michael did a fantastic job! He made what felt like the impossible, possible. I would highly recommend his services.

Michael is a polite and trustworthy tradesman. He will make sure you are happy with everything all along. Completed extra work that other people had left unfinished and did his job to perfection. Michael was flexible with working hours and I was comfortable having him working around my family. If he gets a challenge he will try his best and won't patch it up like people have done in the past. I was so happy with his work I gave him another job to do and he completed it in a day..he just doesn't stop..a very genuine & talented man..wouldn't hesitate recommending you anyday..thank you..xx

Arrived on time, carried out the required work we asked him to do & went above & beyond to make sure everything was completed 100% before he left.......highly recommend, neat, professional & very clean......

Michael did a great job for me and was very fairly priced. Will defo be using again in the future.
