Nick did 2 jobs for me both quite tricky. He repaired and strengthened a section of my boundary wall that my side gate hung on. Achieved a perfect match with the bricks and left the site spotless which is not easy when cement drops all over the place. I have a drive in/drive out driveway one side of which had slipped badly causing gaps to appear and side blocks to become displaced. Nick lifted and replaced that half of the driveway and cleverly managed to match up the lines with the other side. Nick always kept me up to date with any likely problems and always explained what he was doing - no corners were cut. I was very pleased with his work, and more importantly, so was my wife. His pricing structure is fair and no extras were added. I will be sending him some before and after photos so that he can demonstrate the work that he has done to potential customers. He is an excellent paver and builder.

He arrived on time and did a great job. The 2 doorways have been closed in an clean and solid way. Left the side tidy. Highly recommended.

In two days, Nick repointed the wall areas we discussed, replaced the concrete lintel over the window, lined my roof terrace perimeter with lead and silicone and painted up relevant made-good areas including supplying all the labour and materials. He did a great job and I would have no hesitation in employing him again.

Nick was extremely helpful, he went over and above what you would normally expect from a tradesman, as the original job I posted drastically changed overnight when my chimney collapsed. He bent over backwards to cover my emergency needs and carried out some internal work to my chimney stack. I would definately recommend him to my friends (which I have done already) and family. Nick and his crew did a superb job installing our deck. Nick and his people worked very hard and finished the job to a high standard in very short order. It is an amazing addition to our home and we are thrilled with it; we absolutely and unreservedly recommend Nick. Nick's attention to detail and passion for getting a job right is apparent in the quality of the work. The deck is level, square and sturdy with no noticeable 'spring' when walked upon. There are minimal gaps between the boards to allow for the natural swelling and contracting of the timber, but not so wide that it is possible to see straight through. The posts and frame are under-laid with a thick membrane to further reduce light hitting the soil and so inhibit weed growth. The deck is precisely cut around the corners and piping and removable access areas were made over the manhole and drains. A lovely planter was constructed with the excess timber at no extra cost and finishes the project perfectly. Not only was Nick's workmanship of a high standard, he and his crew took care to protect our wooden and tiled floors and ensured that the the site was fully tidied before finishing for the day. He would arrive when expected and communicated clearly throughout the project. Again, we can confidently recommend Nick and hope you enjoy your deck as much as we enjoy ours.

i have used nick in the past and was very happy with the work carried out so i contacted him again and i was not disappointed. he was reliable gave me a great quote. worked to the timescale he provided. left my garden clean and tidy. the job was done to a high standard and he even told me where i could improve my wall without any additional charge. i will deffinately be using his services again. have used dodgy traders in the past and it was like a breath of fresh air to have a tradesman do exactly what they said for the price stated. thanks again nick.

Nick is a diamond. He explained what could be done and offered solutions for what couldn't, in straightforward laymans terms. He also provided a competitive and comprehensive quote.
