Julian did a great job, happy with the extension

Very happy with quote but decided not to buy the house so cancelled. We liked Julian and would ask him again when we move in to our new house in Norfolk.

Julian and the guys did a great job screeding our front room. they did a thorough job of clearing up and we’re all very friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Julian and his team changed a garage into a annexe. What a good job they did. A friendly team. Would recommend them highly. Reliable guys and nothing was too much trouble for them.

I found JNR Building, Julian, (through a post on MyBuilder) back in 2019 and I could sense at that moment that he was the right person for the job. It wasn't until a year later (June 2020) that I actually went ahead with the project and I feel very lucky to of still had his team carry out the work. I had Julian and his team complete a rear two-storey extension to my property, a pretty extensive build with 3 new bathrooms, a new kitchen, an expanded bedroom and a room split with a new wall. Ultimately I cant recommend him enough. This was a tricky project with some HMO regulations involved but Julian was happy to complete & source everything to this spec with Fire doors and specific locks etc. I am not based locally but communication and updates were never an issue and he was completely honest about problems or bumps along the way, more importantly how and the team would work to fix them quickly. Everything has been completed to a very high standard and Julian has gone above and beyond, using his network to help me with additional parts around the property like windows, doors and tree care. I am sure he will attach pictures to this review but anyone is welcome to reference this and see the photos. For any future work, refurbs or extensions I undertake in the future, Julian will absolutely be the first person I call to either consult on or carry out the work. Thanks again Julian, Adam

I found the whole process stress free and was always kept in the loop. I'm very happy I went with JNR Building and Mainetence LTD, as their quote was significantly lower than other builders and the outcome has been to my expectations and more. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for any sided project. I especially want to thank Dan and Julian for your help.

Julian was very prompt and helpful when supplying quote. Job was booked in but due to covid 19 and the state of the country at the moment, we have decided not to go ahead.. Would have no hesitation in recommending this builder

JNR built a single story extension on the back of our house and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The standard of their work is excellent, communication is first rate, they come when they say they will, all the workmen have been pleasant and the amounts invoiced are exactly as the quotes with no 'extras' suddenly appearing. Julian Roper of JNR Building and Maintenance LTD was for me a very lucky find. When I posted this job it was my intention to find someone who had the specialist skills, knowledge, and experience to undertake what was going to be a very difficult task. Some background here is now important. The house is a mid Victorian terrace built in 1890 that has retained all its period features belonging to my Wife, and one that we are looking to very carefully renovate. It has a step down gable end, that was in very bad condition, with two roof ridges, the original chimney stack, carved sandstone lintels to the front elevation, and all the original unpainted brickwork. I intended to have the entire roof and re-point of the brickwork done this year. Julian was able to complete the entire project in less than three weeks in the most adverse weather conditions. He fully understands what it is my Wife and I are wanting to do to the property. The chimney stack and gable end have been carefully repaired with heli-bars. He even had lime added to the cement in the re-pointing of the brickwork. The house now has two perfect roof ridges, a perfect over hang to the gable, and a good strong chimney stack that had to be repaired deep down inside the property. He uses only the very best trades people, and has most definitely won the second and final phase of this restoration project which will hopefully commence in May this year.
