I instructed 3 roofers for this job and all attended site and supplied me a quote within 48 hours which was great, I employed John on the basis of price and my builder reviews ,John also provided me with photos and local addresses of previous jobs which was excellent back up to his quote. They attended site as per agreement and the scaffold went up and the team were on site the next morning .The old roof was removed with no fuss and removed from site immediately so no rubbish left lying about and the membrane was fitted to ensure the house was water proof. The next day the team were on site and the entire roof was installed .John and his team were first class arriving on time and basically working until each phase was completed to Johns satisfaction only stopping for the briefest of lunch.The garden and the road outside was always kept clean and tidy and John continued to communicate with regards to any updates. I would happily recommend J&L Roofing for any similar work as their work is of a very high standard not reduced by the competitive quote Many thanks

John finished my roof a while ago now but instead of jumping straight into a review I wanted to wait to give a better idea of the service overall. First off his comms are excellent. Really quick replies and does what he says he will. His lads are very good. They went out of their way to save the old tiles and transported them to my dad for free. They also managed to fit some over an area that had difficult access. I had some bad weather over the install so our came John over the weekend to rescue things. They even lifted a huge cast iron radiator upstairs. It was so heavy but they did it. For free. I had a hiccup and this is where a good tradesman is worth their weight. I had some dormers fitted which later required permission. John said he would remove and replace for free with slate if I didn’t get it. I got it so he didn’t need to but I believed every word that he would. I now have a great roof and am really pleased with the whole process. I have had bad experiences in the past. This lad and his company are the best.

We hired John to removed old roof completely and fit new roof,felt,roofing lats ,tiles , lead work etc. The scaffold was put up one day and the following day his firm turned up and installed a complete new roof. I had no problems with the job at all , he did everything he said he would and was a pleasure to deal with plus the roof come with a 20 year guarantee . I would recommend John to anybody. We decided to hire J and L Welch Roofing to do our driveway and I'm glad we did. Not just that they gave a lowest quote out of all tradesmen shortlisted but the whole job went as smoothly and hassle-free as you can possibly imagine. Every detail about the job was discussed prior to the start and followed thoroughly. I can honestly say that this was one of the rather rare occasions when I didn't need to intervene to correct something. Overall I am very happy with the job an since it was finished we received many positive comments about it from our neighbors. I would definitely recommend J and L Welch Roofing and hire them again myself.

Turned up promptly to do quote. Had to rearrange due to bad weather but that was out of his hands. Full roof replaced and i added guttering and fascias to the job but this was not a problem. turned up on time to do the work and did so to a high standard. Left site clean and tidy. Very competitively priced. Would highly recommend.

John and his team completed the work and within budget, it did go over in time but this is due to weather more so than anything but they kept us informed at all times. Highly recommended and have already recommended them to friends and family.
