Illingworth Building Services reviews (71)

Andrew and his team were great and I would recommend their service. Andrew and his master builder Darren are experienced and knowledgeable. They confidently tackled removing many walls/installing a complex set of interlocked steels at our Victorian house to create open-plan modern living spaces. They were courteous throughout - and ensured our dogs were safe during the build and gates always closed, which was very important to us. We are now engaging Andrew again for part two of our conversion, building an extension, which speaks volumes.

Very experienced and professional. Explained every step of the project, very clean and tidy and little disruption to a very busy house . I would highly recommend to friends and family.

I was really pleased with the speed at which they completed the room, Andrew was honest and up front and we paid exactly what was agreed, many thanks.

I cannot praise Andrew and his team high enough. Very professional, hard working, reliable. They all really take great pride in their work. I am very very happy to have found such a wonderful Builder and his team. Genuine, caring, considerate. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I am so happy that I hired Andrew and his team, my little house has had a complete overhaul, plastering, pointing and rendering, I have used them several times over the past 3 years and they have been invaluable to me, don't know what I would have done without them, I love my little house so much and these guys were always so respectful, clean, sweet and very kind :) Their work is fantastic and even if they are really busy if I have an urgent job they will squeeze me in. They are coming back this month to do a patio for me too :)

Andrew Illingworth Building Service; Andrew and his team were really excellent, and responded within hours of my online request. Andrew then visited and understood exactly what the job entailed, and offered a quote within days, and then quite simply got the job scheduled in and done all within time and allocated budget. He and his team worked efficiently, were very polite, had a great sense of humour, yet were professional at all times, and could not do enough to help in getting the job done within the allocated time frame. Not only that, there was an ongoing problem with damp above my kitchen window, and after several builders and hundreds of ££££ later, the problem remained unsolved. However Andrew and his team diagnosed the issue in minutes and offered a very reasonable quote, and guess what... problem solved! All the internal and external plastering work was prepped and diligently done, and the Rendering work was top notch craftsmanship, it being an old house, it was quite wonderful to see and observe the walls being renovated, transformed and painted. One could not have asked for better or more trustworthy builders, they arrived within the day's and times discussed, and the work was done and dusted, in time and within the allocated budget so, thank you Andrew and team. Meeting andrew and his team was a blessing from above, grew up around the same area, The work quality was second to none did what was expected keepIng you updated and guiding you through the process at each stage of the work very friendly and trustworthy and help you with others things that was not included in the work. if I had to score out of 10 I would give him and his team a 10 without any hesitation. Keep up the good work !

I found Andrew Illingworth and his team through my builder.com and am delighted with the work they have carried out for me. In the beginning we discussed the work to be done and they recommended the best materials and where they could be obtained. The work was carried out with great professionalism and I was kept in the picture all the time. The job took a little longer than anticipated due to my unconventional home and they worked over the weekend to make sure the job was completed. They were tidy and cleared the site when the work was finished. Their charges were very reasonable and I made stage payments as the job progressed. They were a friendly and very approachable team and I thoroughly recommend them. Estelle Jourd
