Jamie's quote was competitive and he came across well so we chose him for the job. The work that was completed was generally good and the building inspector was satisfied. The guys who work for him worked really hard and were absolutely fine. However at the end of the job Jamie became rather unpleasant, refusing to do some of the work that was agreed in writing and threatened to take his men off site if I didn't agree to pay in full. He was nit picking and penny pinching over every aspect of making good, over somethings that were really trivial and some that were more fundermental. I withheld some of the payment, but in hindsight not enough. I'm a young bloke and tried to hold my ground but it was stressful and intimidating, so I really worry what would happen if he behaved this way with more elderly or perhaps female customers.

As an expanding construction company with the need for a reliable team to do my brick laying, I contacted Jamie through MyBuilder. Jamie was prompt with contact, sent through his prices (which were very fair) and set up a meeting with me to discuss the job which went well. Jamie is very knowledgeable within his field and I was very impressed with aspects of the job that I had not picked up or accounted for. Jamie and his team arrived to carry out the job on time, very efficiently and within budget. There were a couple of issues that I had regarding the work that Jamies team carried out, but Jamie quickly resolved them and my customer and myself was pleased with the end product. Jamie is now my first point of contact for brick/block work for my future projects and is already booked in to carry out the next extension in the New Year. Highly Recommened.

Jaimie gave me a quote for my ceiling to be plastered which was very competitive. Once we agreed a price the work was carried out promptly and to a very high standard, so much so, that we offered Jamie more work to fit a banister and spindles in the hall. Jamie is punctual, reliable and a generally all round nice guy, competitively priced and cleans up after each job to a very high standard. I highly recommend this company and will be using them in the future. Thank you Jamie for all your hard work 😊

Jamie has Just completed the work. I had a good idea of what I wanted but the end result far outweighed my expectations From start to finish Jamie has been fantastic. He gave a very competitive quote for the job, and once accepted a contract was given with the price for the job, a start date was then given and kept to. Jamie kept in communication Throughtout the job. And would always respond to calls and text immediately The work was carried out by his team, who were exstremley skilled and knowledgeable about the work being done. Jamie and his team are very professional and friendly. On completion of the job the final price was exactly what was quoted. I can't speak highly enough of Jamie, I will be recommending him to anyone who requires building work, and will certainly use him again Brilliant job 👍

I' m very pleased with the work that Jamie and his team carried out. Exactly as I wanted it to be. Despite the wrong shed being delivered, he still managed to put it up as soon as the correct one arrived. Very impressed!

Jamie arrived as arranged, from the start, it was obvious he knew his stuff. He could have cut a couple of corners with the job (as another builder Suggested) the result would have been adequate but not the best, Jamie didn't even suggest doing this. Contract was signed, so was done professionally and I was happy with this. The 2 builders that arrived very early as planned. They were hard workers, their goal, to do a really good job. They were easy to get along with, 2 incredibly nice guys. Most importantly, from the start, It looked like they were making a good job of it While it was not Jamie himself that did the build, he was in regular contact & checked the site, his goal also, for the job to be done well. The wall was being rendered, that was done brilliantly, a lovely flat finish. All left over building materials and rubbish was removed from the site. It is always a risk contracting an unknown builder without feedback. I contracted jamie from my own common sense and gut feeling after meeting and discussing the job. Honestly, there is not a thing that I was or am unhappy with. I would not hesitate to contract with them again and have already recommended them because they did such a good job.
