Extension to rear, 1st floor extension, internal reconfiguration, complete internal refurbishment including rewiring, new heating and plumbing system, plastering, new windows, fitting bathrooms, project management-planning permission, working drawings and building control approval

Single storey rear extension, create two new ensuite bathrooms above garage, rear patio and front driveway, full redecoration and rewire, hot water and heating system including underfloor heating to ground floor. The quality of workmanship has been excellent and the building team very well organised and managed by Piotr. Throughout the project we have been reassured by Piotr's knowledge and integrity as a builder. The internal works were completed on time. External work has not yet been completed, but this is due to reasons beyond Harmony House control (extended planning issues). Leesa communicated with us constantly throughout the project, organised weekly on site meetings to update us on progress, and acted as our agent on all planning and building control issues. Importantly, she is always available to talk to. Any problems which occurred during the project were discussed promptly and openly, allowing us all to agree on the best course of action. At no point do we feel that corners were cut and we felt fully involved in finding best solutions at these times. Overall, we would not hesitate to recommend Harmony House, and would use them ourselves again in the future.

    Rear single story extension

Harmony House handled the quotation process professionally, appearing competitive as well as forecasting a realistic build time. Having awarded the job to them, Leesa arranged for architectural and structural drawings to be done for us and effectively project managed the job throughout, being our main point of contact. Our initial quote had to be revised due to neighbour concerns about the design, which meant the plans were amended accordingly. This subsequently increased the quotation which we approved. Leesa took control of party wall issues we experienced, and all council related/building control requirements/inspections, keeping us closely informed of progress and pre-empting any potential problems along the way. As the build progressed we were extremely happy with the quality of workmanship. The builders were very hard working, arriving on-time every day. If for any reason they were not going to be on-site Leesa would inform us ahead of time with the reason for their absence. The build was completed within the revised budget and 4 days earlier than the estimated build time. We would not hesitate to recommend Harmony House to any of our friends and would definitely take them on with any future project.

    Extension and Internal Alterations

Harmony Homes carried out extensive renovations for us, knocking an internal load bearing wall down between kitchen and dining room and building an extension on the back of the dining room. HH provided a competitive all inclusive quote and this did not change, other than extras requested by us and some additional work required by the Building Inspector which HH had warned us would likely be required. The quote was clear and comprehensive. The builders worked incredibly hard and were very diligent. They turned up on time, cleared up after themselves every day and their work was of a high quality. What really sets HH apart, however, is Leesa, the project manager. She is efficient, always available and organised. She liased with the building inspector and planners taking much of the stress away from us. She also provided valuable guidance on party wall issues and even some design advice. Leesa is a consistent point of contact and dealt with any concerns we had immediately and to our satisfaction. As for any project of this size, problems did arise, however, HH accepted our feedback and their responsibility and remediated accordingly. We would recommend HH for any work without hesitation.

Complete refurbishment of 3 bed, 1 bath detached property including internal structural works to remove walls and change internal layout, rear extension with bi-fold doors, complete re-wiring, design and installation of new heating & hot water system, fit new bathroom, utility room & kitchen, fit new wood flooring.

Working with Leesa was a great experience. She's great to work with, extremely personable and very efficient. She made sure that things got done and she was a brilliant liaison between the client and the builders. She was excellent at coordinating, servicing and managing materials and the building team. The work that was carried out was a complete refurbishment with new bathroom, kitchen, new flooring, new heating, some walls were taken out and also re-wiring. I've recommended Leesa and her team to several people.

I hired Harmony House to make improvements on a property I had bought to rent out and was in a bad state of disrepair. They did everything from electrics, plumbing, gas installation, fitting cupboards, joinery, painting and decorating, flooring and jet washing the patio. I had good faith in them and they didn't let me down. I was very, very pleased with their work, they were very reasonable and finished the work to deadlines. I would definitely recommend them.
