Robert fixed our boiler which was overflowing due to a defective part. He explained what the problem was and what he needed to do. He replaced the broken part and then fixed the leaking pipe where the water was running out of. He also fixed a leak in the radiator pipe which was soaking the carpet living room. Although he was supposed to fit in a gas cooker for us, it didn't go ahead as the cooker we had was the wrong type for the kitchen. As Robert did a decent job with the leaks, we were happy with his service and the price we paid for the service. We will definitely contact him again to install a cooker and new shower in the bathroom.

Robert first saved me for a bad job done by somebody else in fixing my cooker. Then he installed my boiler, he has been really professional, he did the job in a day for a fair price. Definitely to be recommended!

Robert replied to the ad promptly and discussed the issue with me. I called him back the next day to confirm I wanted to go ahead with the work and he arrived at my flat within an hour. He spent time looking into the problem, went and got the parts and came back and got it all fixed in a matter of hours which is much better than the previous person who loooked at the issue but did not full resolve it. Robert called me back the next day to see if everything was working well which was a nice touch. A very good job all round and the the price was good as well.

We hired Robert to install new radiators, refit pipes that were previously outside the walls and to fit a new boiler and magnetic filter. We received a very detailed breakdown of all the materials that were going to be used and the cost of the materials. Unfortunately, there wasn't a breakdown of the work that was to be carried out. The day after the boiler was installed there was a gas leak, which Robert came out to fix the same day and said had been due to a manufacturing fault. Once the the walls had been replastered, and we tried to refit the radiators it was discovered that the new pipes were too short and the radiators were leaking. We called Robert and were told this was the responsibility of the person refitting the radiators. When it came to fitting the kitchen it turned out that the magnetic filter had been installed in such an awkward position that it and the pipework leading into the boiler had to be redone to allow us to fit cupboards around it. There was also a redundant gas pipe that had not been removed. With hindsight we would not have hired Robert. The shortcomings of his work have cost us several hundert pounds to fix.
