I had little faith in decorators having tried 8 in the last 18 months, getting only one satisfactory quote. Most came and looked at our job and we never heard from them again. One even told me decorators are completely unreliable - and he was! Having booked the only one who quoted, we waited five months for him to be available - he cancelled a week before he was due.
By contrast, Omid answered my advert within hours, arrived the next day to quote, which arrived a day or two later, as promised. It was within my budget, so I said "yes" having been struck by him as friendly and straight forward - he certainly seemed to know his business.
We arranged for him to start about 5 weeks later and he and Hamid turned up exactly as promised. They worked consistently and hard for eleven working days and didn't finish each evening until they were satisfied they had done what they wanted to that day. They were friendly, cheerful, cleaned up each evening and asked if they were unsure of anything.
My wife and I are very well pleased with result and can now move forward to add all the fixtures and fittings. We would recommend Omid's company from our experience and would certainly retain him again the future.
If you ask Omid for a quote, be sure you tell him everything you want although they were flexible where they could be. The final thing I would say is that give them space and don't stand still - or you'll get painted!
