I couldn't have asked for anything better. The wall is perfect. The team were accommodating and helpful. They matched old bricks perfectly and left the garden clean and tidy. I would highly recommend.

Hi, I used these tradesmen to relay my courtyard and they did a tremendous job. They were neat, on time, very flexible with their timings ( came out on a Sunday evening to take a first look, and provided a reasonable quote immediately. They even followed up a few days later to make sure we were happy with the job. They did a fabulous job with the courtyard and I couldn't be happier. I would highy recommend them to anyone.

Really friendly and reliable. Excellent work, done cleanly and with careful consideration of neighbours, noise, waste, etc. Would highly recommend and definately use again.

I have only good things to say about Denis and his team. After making contact with me through this website Denis made himself available to meet with me during the evening of that same day. He arrived on time and showed immediate enthusiasm for the project. He even took me on a local tour to talk about different bricks and bricks laying methods to assist in finalising the spec for the job. Denis promised to put together a quote within two days and did exactly that. I hired him and his team without any hesitation. Denis continued to prove himself reliable and punctual always turning up when he said he would and completing stages of the work according to the schedule agreed. The work itself is of a very high standard. The lines are true, the pointing crisp and clean, the curved corner of the wall precisely created. I watched him diligently dig out and lay new footings taking care of and building around tree roots (a technically difficult task which he dealt with brilliantly). Denis and team were always clean, tidy and considerate of our neighbours. They cleaned up each day, went quietly about their work and created no disturbance. It was a pleasure to deal with Denis and his team. I am very happy with the work and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of bricklaying - particularly projects with physical or technical challenges.

Denis and his team have done a brilliant job in building a front garden wall in brick to replace the old wooden one. The quality of the work is superb, the job was carried out diligently and the site cleared and scrubbed clean when finished. I would have no hesitation in hiring him again for a similar job. Top marks.

Denis and his team are excellent. They gave me a fair quote for doing the job. We agreed on the materials required and it was clear from the start what the job would cost in full. The team stuck to the timelines agreed often turning up earlier and leaving later on the day in order to get the job done. Unlike some builders, you don't see them hanging around or stopping regularly for break. They are keen to get the job done and done fast at a high standard. My neighbour was so impressed that he hired them as well. We have also been asked for their details by other people on our street who have seen them work and achieve a good job in a short space of time. They are also very tidy and clear up after they leave each day which means there is minimum disruption day to day.Denis is great at communicating so you won't be left wondering on any aspect of the job. I can't recommend them enough.

I have been in the building business for over 20 years. Denis and his partner Andre are two of the best brickies I have ever hired. They just get on with the job and deliver really good quality brickwork. Everyone who has seen their work (from property owners through to architects) has been impressed. Denis and Andre have done a number of jobs for me, both daywork and piecework. On day work they don't hang around and their piecework rates are good. They are reliable, always turning up when they say they will. When I met Denis I was not 100% sure – East European accent, built like a tank and loves death metal music. Don't be put off! Andre prefers singers in the style of Caruso, which is impressively different. On site there is quite a bit of Ukranian chat but Denis and Andre both speak English pretty well, even though there are not too many definite or indefinite articles.

Denis is a brilliant builder. At the planning stage he took a great deal of time to understand my requirements and made some helpful suggestions regarding the construction of my wall. He quoted a very reasonable price and was very clear about the time he would need to complete the job. I ordered my own materials and Denis was most helpful in his advice about suppliers. Denis agreed a start date to accommodate my diary. Denis arrived promptly each day of the construction and worked through to the end of the day taking only short breaks. The wall was the base of a green house and Denis took great care to ensure that the dimensions were exactly as the plan sent by the greenhouse company. He layed paving inside the green house again with great care and precision. Denis's bricklaying and slab laying workmanship was excellent and at the end of each day he made sure that the working area was left clean and tidy. Denis also took great care to minimise disruption around the building area and on the house driveway. I cannot recommend Denis highly enough. Anne Delaney

Andy did a fantastic job on this project. He was very patient while we sorted out the finer details of the project. He stuck to the price and time frame agreed and was prompt, honest and hard working. The rest of his team were equally nice to have around and left the place spotless. He has left us with a beautiful garden wall and I highly recommend him.
