Prompt reply and good communication. What the job entailed was explained well and a quote arrived promptly following a visit. The damp proof work was completed the following week. Everything was done neatly and tidied up with no mess. Kitchen and cupboard walls now look very smart.

Julian is a genuinely friendly and honest professional. Luckily the damp patch was due to a build up of condensation which he has told us is drying out as wardrobe move has allowed air to circulate, and we didn’t need any work doing. He could have easily said we did but he didn’t and even offered us several tips and some advice to avoid further build up. If we ever did have a problem like this again, I would not hesitate to call him up! Thanks Julian- even though we didn’t actually need you this time your advice is greatly appreciated!

I was initially sceptical after reading various forums regarding damp patches as so many differing solutions make it confusing. Penetrative damp, rising damp, condensation damp, the list goes on! Dovedale got in touch after I posted my issues and Moz came round a couple of days later. After explaining in layman's terms that we had condensation issues in the house and along with simple demonstrations with a damp meter we were able to see how the problems were occurring. We received a quote the same day and agreed to have the PIV unit fitted the following week. Very little disturbance or mess and it was installed. It has been fitted a week and already the house feels different, clothes in the wardrobe no longer feel damp and the soaking wet walls are now drying out. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys! Reasonable pricing, straightforward explanations and even a guarantee that if this didn't work they'd come back and sort the issue. Top notch!
