Although Donovan was hard to pin down once he got the job, he did a great job and found such a simple solution to something that would have cost me over four times what my original builder wanted to do and charge. He suggested the use of super solid Keropoxy grout (twice as expensive I.e £30 as normal grout so normal builders don't use it) to seal the tile water leaks in the bathroom, instead of ripping off all the tiles around the bathtub and redoing again (the same job was only done by Estate Agent's builders only two years ago at great cost). Very grateful for his expertise - he also left the house tidy. Would definitely use him again (if I can get hold of him!!😀)

Did a good job with the tiles but we had to do a lot of cleaning afterwards and find someone to fix the seal on our sink after it was moved as we couldn't fix it ourselves. But he did knock some money off the total amount as a gesture because of this.

Donovan did a great job. Polite, timely and good communication. His finish was outstanding and he went to extraordinary lengths to make sure he tiled around and under some very tricky areas. We left him in the house all day with no problems at all. He was happy to do this. Really pleased. Thank you.

Review originally posted 12 July: I was able to hire Donovan a few days before the job needed to start, after another tradesman had backed out. We just needed metro tiles installed in the traditional brick layout, so nothing complicated. His rate was very competitive and he was responsive through text. It wasn't a great start as he showed up nearly 2 hours late, though he worked quickly and was very polite. The tiling work looks great at a glance, though once he left I inspected it more thoroughly, and found that a few of the tiles have hairline cracks, some of the cut tiles are very uneven and the corner looks awful. There were plenty of leftover tiles (that could have been used to replace the cracked) so the only explanation I can think of was his urgency to finish the job in the time he had committed to (especially after running late). Unfortunately I'm just going to have to live with it. Given his other good reviews, this may have just been a bad day for him, though I wouldn't hire him again unfortunately. Follow up to review 13 July: Donovan could have handled my above review by ignoring it or trying to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, he chose to send me a vile and abusive message in response. As such, I have adjusted the rating from neutral to negative.

Donovan did a great job on my kitchen tiling. He worked quickly through the day and the tiles look fantastic, very professional job. I had to be a little flexible on the timings but that was fine. Overall top job.

Donovan was absolutely brilliant. He quoted 2 days for the job but he stuck at it until he finished on day 1. He never stopped for a coffee or anything and the finished work was a credit to him. Donovan is a really nice guy and I would highly recommend him for his manner and tiling skills. Thank you very much Donovan.
