Dermot got the job done quickly, and tidily.

Doc carpentry made a custom fitted front door, with beautifully crafted archway, solid wood frame and door. Very happy with the final result, Dermot did come around a number of times to make sure that we got what we wanted. Would hire again for more work. Thanks.

So very pleased with Dermot's work today - 2 new hardwood posts fitted at my front porch to replace the terrible eyesores created by a previous handyman! Dermot paid such attention to the detail, creating an attractive and neat base for the posts to sit in, sealing and sanding - all ready for painting. Dermot is a really nice man, easy to get on with and treats the job as if he was doing it for his own home. Thanks alot - a great job and price. Will use you again and definately recommend you to others.

I hired Dermot to complete carpentry work left over after I had to dismiss the previous carpenter/ builder on sit. Dermot had to finish installing around 60 lm of skirting, fit 5 new door frames and hang new doors and fit around 60m of architraves. He also built 1 very large wardrobe (3.5 m x 2.4m ) and 3 other smaller cupboards/cabinets. He also needed to in some re-inforcing timber to help the kitchen installers to hang the wall units. The work performed was done very competently and Dermot worked over a period of a month to get the work completed. He was also able to recommend a painter who could paint and finish the work.

Dermot was an excellent carpenter, very reasonable rates, lovely work. We are going to use him again to build more shelves.

Following my post on My Builder, Dermot contacted me that day about the job and sent me some photos of some similar work he carried out. He then came round to quote that night. Dermot was flexible on dates and actually carried out the work on a Saturday which was really handy for me. The large storage cupboard he built with detailed beading was excellent, he understood exactly what I was after and his carpentry skills are of the highest standard. Dermot told me that he does all he carpentry jobs as if he was building them for his own home and this is true. Even though the cupboard was a 2 day job he stayed from early morning to late at night on a weekend to get it done for us in one day. I felt happy leaving Dermot in my home while I went out and completed weekend chores. He is a really great guy and my dog loved him! He charged us as he said, no extra costs, and it was a great work for a competitive price. Will hire Dermot again when I next require any work done.

Dermot responded quickly to my post, was available at short notice and was very flexible with when he could complete the work. He's done a great job with the cupboards he's built in the bedroom so I've got him coming back to build some more He's also really tidy and leaves no trace when he's done. Definitely recommend him
