Del was thorough, reliable, trustworthy and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend him - indeed have already done so! A couple of the window cills turned out to be rotten, so these had to be replaced, but he found me a reliable carpenter. Del was competitively priced, but not the cheapest. Very polite and professional. Arrived on time apart from one occassion when slightly delayed by traffic. Job quite messy because of amount of woodwork that needed rubbing down but he and his assistant tried to keep to a minimum and tidied up both at lunch time and before going home in the evening. Went out of his way to be helpful replacing furniture, curtains, large painting as my husband was at work. Difficult to provide a more accurate description so a site visit will be necessary to provide a quote. We would like the work to start week commencing 29th March. Labour only. We were very pleased with the painting job that Derek did for us. We were happy to trust Derek with our house keys. He always left our house tidy at the end of each day, he was polite and professional and his work was finished to a high standard. He also did another small job for us free of charge. Del was 100% reliable, arriving within a minute of our agreed 8 am start each day. He worked quickly and efficiently, and was very willing to correct one or two minor areas of the wall where the finish was not as smooth as other areas. I am happy with the work and have asked Del to quote for my next job (which is testimony to my willingness to use him again)
