Would highly recommend - Ken is very knowledgeable and was able to advise on the best and most cost effective way to proceed with the project (design, materials etc). Once appointed, he and his team were extremely efficient in installing the decking and were very considerate when bringing materials through the house (covering floors etc). I hardly even noticed they were in the back garden! Very tidy and quiet during installation and the garden was left looking great afterwards, we are very pleased with the results.

Ken and his chaps were great - on time, tidy and friendly! Good advice on how to design the decking and which wood to use etc. All in all worth the money, and the decking looks fantastic!

I would highly recommend Ken and Deckmasters. I am extremely happy with the work from Deckmasters. My new decking is of a high standard and looks lovely. The workman were friendly and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Very professional approach to assessing the job, advising and giving choices of style, and proposing and sticking to a timely schedule for the work, which was done to a good standard. Would recommend for decking projects.

Ken was polite and straightforward, made a really good job of the decking an cleared up afterwards. He also put sheeting down inside the house when carrying the materials through the house (my wife liked that bit!). Job was completed on time and on budget. I would definitely use Ken and his lad again.

Ken at Deckmasters was an absolute please to deal with from the outset. He was able to give an accurate estimate over the phone before coming to our property to measure up and give a full quote. Of everyone we invited to quote for the work, Ken was the only one to come with a selection of decking timber options for us to look at. He considered every aspect of our project from two manhole access points to a step, and gave us really sound advice on the layout of our decking. Not only was he the most professional but he also offered the most competitive price. Ken was very accomodating, moving jobs around to fit our tight deadlines. He turned up on time and fully equipped and got the job done remarkably quickly. Ken and his team left our garden clean and tidy and even moved our gate and made a temporary locking system. We are over the moon with the result and couldn't be happier with the service we received.

Ken was one of the better tradesman, job was to a high standard, price was reasonable and he was good at communicating progress. He got a pretty decent size job done fast and we are happy with the fantastic result.

Ken and his colleague removed our old decking, disposed of it and built and fitted new decking for the lower part of our garden. From the time we agreed the work they were able to start within three weeks and completed the work promptly and with minimal disruption. Throughout the job they were extremely diligent, hard-working, polite, gave valuable expert advice, carried out the work exactly to our specifications and to an extremely high standard and, most importantly, the completed decking looks fantastic. We could not recommend Ken and his team highly enough - thanks again Ken for a great job!

Ken was very willing to offer his expertise, he was able to give us a clear idea and was hired to do our decking, his original quote was fair, which was for regular softwood decking. After some consideration we decided to go for composite decking because we didn't want the maintenance issues and cracking etc. Ken recommended eco deck which he hadn't used before, but it looked good quality. I contacted ecl to check out prices ect and was a bit shocked when Ken re-quoted at almost twice the price for the job. However we went ahead and the job turned out nice, although I did have to be on hand as some areas were not to our liking. Overall: + good reliability, his assistant was a nice young lad. + Good experienced deck person as that's all he does. + Straightforward and efficient. _ cost was more than expected in the end, (but pleased with the decision to go for the composite ecodec). _ Slight concern over an area where the water does not drain away. _ need to be very precise on detail, (But Ken was willing to try and please). Overall pleased with the final look but thought the cost a little higher than expected and will check the drainage situation and hope that if we do have a problem Ken will come back to sort it out.
