I can’t speak highly enough of David of ADE, and have no hesitation recommending him and his company. From the day he came to give a quote though to completion of my work he has been punctual and kept me updated at all times . David was happy to do additional work along the way and worked non stop completing my work within a month which is just incredible . David’s attention to detail is first class and has really made a difference to how my new kitchen looks, he’s clearly a very experienced builder who has sympathetically remodelled the whole ground floor of my Victorian home with great enthusiasm.Thanks again David!

Dave was great and I would highly recommend. Mine was a small job, but Dave was knowledgeable, prompt, tidy and the finished job looked excellent. I would use Dave and his team again.

What a fantastic job! Dave and Ryan arrived promptly at 8am on the first day, and for the next 5 days they were not only a pleasure to have around, but the workmanship was better than I could have expected and the work areas were always left tidy at the end of each day. Am delighted with the results - the tradesmen that Dave got in to do some plumbing/gas/plastering work were equally as good! I dropped an extra couple of jobs on Dave at short notice, which were no bother at all. Dave is the only guy I'll go to as and when I need more work doing. We had only 5 weeks to get the new kitchen bathroom and toilet installed. We chose Ade based on the positive reviews and excellent quote we were given. Dave and his team were excellent and completed the job to a high standard and on schedule even though the work needed changed in that we needed a lot more work doing, especially needing all the walls and ceilings to be 're plaster, a new boiler, bathroom and toilet to be tiled and a dangerous greenhouse to be removed. On top of that Dave went out of his way to advise and help with small jobs that came up as the work went along. The quality of the work was excellent and he kept to budget on the original works and gave great prices on the extra things we needed doiñg. I will definately use this company again if and when needed and wholeheartedly would recommend anyone to use their services. I cannot praise Dave and his team enough. They did a superb job and even completed extra work. The team cleaned up at the end of every day. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a good laugh along the way. Anything you want doing ADE is the guy.

Dave did a good job at a competitive price. He arrived to measure up and do the job on time and carried out the work efficiently and professionally. Have requested a quote for further window replacements.

(Double story side extension) we had several quotes from builders and Dave came back with the best competitive price for the works by thousands less than the next, he was avalible 24/7 through our design and planning phase on hand to give sound advice as we had no clue about planning permission, building regs or architecture. Soon after the works started we had a few issues with our foundations (no fault of daves) and Dave was their to help, advise, guide and fix the problem which was a god send in keeping the project moving. From start to finish Dave and his team have been amazing they have given my family the space we need to grow old together, a beautiful very well built space to create memories. Dave and his team have gone above and well beyond for us they are 100% punctual, integral, hardworking people. We wouldn't use any other builders than David Ellery and are already planning our next project, Dave Ryan and Nathan have become friends of our family and we wish them all the best success in the future. David was recommend to us by a colleague of mine Laura (also reviewed further below). Once you meet David you realise he is likeable, honest and very proud of the work he does. He explained once he gives you a quote that he will not deviate from it and that he will go out of his way to keep the job tidy and as stress-free as possible. Once we got a very reasonable quote from him we had no hesitation on hiring him. This was our first experience of a major building work (whole downstairs of house renovated including kitchen knocked through into garage, garage and front of house brought forward and new kitchen installed). David project-managed it for us. His team were very dependable and good natured. David came up with some really useful suggestions for us along the way and was only too happy to go along with some of the new ideas that we had. It goes without saying that we were very happy to trust the whole team with the house as our work meant we left earlier and came back later. Good communications took place throughout and, as promised, they tidied away very neatly at the end of each day. The finish to the house is of a very high quality. The new build blends in incredibly well with the old. The plastering work was first rate and the kitchen fitted to a very high standard. David really went the extra mile in the work he completed and we could not be happier. Highly highly recommended.

We hired Mr Ellery to compete removal of old kitchen , fitting of new kitchen . Plastering tiling,underfloor heating and electrics . It was arranged in October 2015 the work to commenced on 8th February. Christmas had come and gone I messaged Mr Ellery to ask him pop in and finalise the job.On 2nd February I received message through Builder.Com Mr Ellery saying he would not able to commence our kitchen due to the death of his brother the kitchen was delivered the day after.Our home was in total chaos,but I was very sympathetic to Mr Ellery's bereavement and just asked he let us know when it could be rescheduled I had took the week off work.We did not hear anything and did not want to be insensitive at such a sad time, but needed outcome to what was happening. My husband rang expressing condolences saying he was sorry to have to ring but we needed to know what was happening.Mr Ellery said he was not working and had to reschedule his work .Mr Ellery committed to start the work on Monday 15th February we rescheduled our commitments to accommodate.I did not want to be unsympathetic but had a niggle about the whole situation . A friend rang him the Monday he should have been completing our work for a quote. He was on site building an extension and was doing one the following week, the week he had committed to our work ! We remained optimistic, today is Monday 15th he has not arrived and is not answering our calls and heard nothing from him ! UNTRUSTWORTHY UNRELIABLE ....AVOID
