Christopher Ward Joinery Services reviews (354)

Chris was very prompt and professional in responding to the job posted. My initial concern was the distance he would have to travel but he assured me he worked countrywide and that he specialized in staircases. He was able to give a fixed price, which I provisionally accepted pending other quotes. Two other tradesmen visited but I am still awaiting their quotations. In the meantime Chris was available to start the job on the Tuesday before Christmas and feeling very comfortable from my telephone conversations that he knew what he was talking about, he was duly hired. He arrived on time and was extremely courteous and respectful of our home. The job was completed within a few hours, with minimal disruption and the decor remained intact (other tradesmen had stated there would be a requirement to remove some plasterboard and make good). I can highly recommend Chris for attitude and professionalism, however, his 'dum-di-da' singing service while he works will not trouble the X Factor contestants! (Only joking and in fairness he does warn you beforehand!)

Chris's very positive, friendly and reassuring attitude over the phone was matched by his approach to his work. Every moan, groan and creek ever experienced on my stairs have gone. Each time i go up or down the stairs i am in awe of how slient it is and how secure it feels.

Thank you, doors fitted to time and budget and they look great!

Thanks Chris. Job completed on time and on budget as quoted. Communication excellent. Would happily recommend to friends and family.

Our staircase was very springy and creaky. Chris came within a few days of making contact, replaced a broken tread and tightened all the others so that the stairs are now virtually solid. No mess, no redecorating - wonderful! PS. I left this for a week or so to see if the stairs started to work loose again but they haven't - very happy.

Chris was excellent. He got in touch really quickly to say he could fit the job in at the end of the week. He arrived on time, carried out the work and left everywhere cleaner and tidier than before!! Thank you!

Chris has done a great job fitting two new half glazed doors to my living room, and refitting an existing door to the bedroom. His workmanship is excellent and his prices very reasonable. He is also a lovely person and a complete pleasure to be around. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone looking for a joiner......he even cleans up his mess!! L.B., Hull

I am very pleased with the work carried out by Chris which has been completed to a very high standard and on time. Chris is friendly and professional. He was helpful and understanding when discussing some minor fitting issues. I would be very happy to recommend Chris.

Chris did a fantastic job , really honest professional tradesman , he travelled a long way but came when he said he would and phoned and texted to keep us informed of his journey progress , very good at what he does would use him again no problem and also recommend him at the drop of a hat , total opposite of the cowboys who fitted my loft ladder the wrong way round to start with ! Well done Chris ! You Rock !

Excellent work. High standard and highly recommended .
