I highly recommend Southend Flooring. I had a tight deadline and some slightly unusual circumstances and they were very willing to work round these while providing a great service. The guys worked quickly and didn't leave until the job was done. I spent some time overseeing the work and I was very impressed! They were also very reactive at all times of the day when it came to sorting out the details - that was much appreciated. Thank you!

I can't recommend James and Chris highly enough. We had all flooring a five bed house replaced by Southend Flooring this year and not only was work finished to a high standard with no mess and in good time, but more importantly we were looked after very carefully throughout. We had a difficult renovation project on our hands which meant a 6 month delay from when James and Chris thought they would be fitting the first floors. They remained in regular and helpful communication with us throughout, which provided great reassurance at an otherwise very stressful time. When work from other contractors went wrong, Chris and James were always on hand to offer advice and made regular site visits to check on how work was progressing and offer helpful solutions and workaround that other trades should have been solving. Due to problems mentioned, we ended up having to change flooring project after having agreed what work would be carried out. Chris and James made this process very easy and helped us decide upon new projects with no fuss. Our floors are now superb and we regularly get compliments on the finish and style, a very impressive job all round!

James sent Jason & Richard to carpet a small bedroom. They arrived promptly, cleaned up after themselves, and the job was completed very professionally. I have no hesitation in recommending Southend Flooring- just waiting for an invoice for the work, so I have their contact details for the future.

Great experience with Southend Flooring. James came to my house a number of times to go through the flooring samples as I changed by mind regarding the colours. I had the whole house redone laminate and carpet on the stairs. Installation was done quickly (there was a level of co-ordination of other works going on in the house). The product is excellent quality. I'm had many compliments on the flooring since the installation. I would highly recommend James and Southend Flooring.

VERY NICE JOB. James and Chris have done a very nice job. we were in a rush to complete the floor before we move in to the house, so they had to respect the timing we have given them. and they did it. With 12 mm laminate we have done the floor and the staircase, and they look amazing. The most impressive part is the staircase where they have matched the lines of the wood along the complete stair. but they have been focused on details everywhere. very nicely done. and beside, they are nice people to deal with, it is not essential to get the job done, but it makes things easier. recommended

Very happy with James and his team! I hired them to fit laminate floors onto ~80sqm, in a total of 8 rooms and 3 landings. Got a quote for the work only a day after the viewing and a sample of flooring posted to me immediately, the sample was exactly what I was looking for. The quote I received was significantly less than from other flooring fitters, and I am very pleased with the quality of work I received for my money in return. I can highly recommend James and his team if you want good quality work without having to spend a fortune on it! Work ethic of the team is excellent, I always received prompt replies to any enquiries, whether late in the evening or on weekends and bank holidays. The floor fitters also stayed in late on evenings and weekends (with my permission!) to complete the job even earlier than expected. Would recommend this company to any of my friends.

James and his team did a good job of laying laminate floor. I am asking them to come back and do the bottom floor my house. They solved the creaking flooring on my landing and many people and have commented on the excellent work.

James was fast, efficient, friendly and very professional. Job was done to a Betley high standard, and due to deadline for completion was still happy working at 9pm and coming back at 7am to complete. Not often you find a trademan quiet to diligent. Great work and highly recommended.

I contacted Southend Flooring on a Friday and on the Saturday they came to see me to show me samples. By the following Saturday they started the work. They were very efficient, especially Morris who laid the floor. He was very helpful, polite and did the job well. Morris worked late to get the job finished. I would recommend Southend Flooring and Morris to anybody else. Thank you Morris and James for doing a good job.
