Fitzroy did an amazing job of putting 4 doors up, putting skirting boards in 2 rooms and painting them. We have already booked him for other jobs that need doing within the property. He also offered to go with us to help us pick up the doors and other materials as this was not going to fit in our car. Would recommend him 100% .....Thanks Fitzroy

Fitzroy did a brilliant job. We initially wanted the wardrobe doors shortened, but when he visited to quote on the job we asked if he could quote for building some new shelves in the wardrobe too. He arrived early in the morning, did a great job and then hoovered before he left. We would definitely use him again, and have earmarked a couple of things we'd like him to do when the time comes round.

Fitzroy was punctual and competitively priced. He did an excellent job of fitting a new laminate floor including stairs. We are very pleased with the result and all the care Fitzroy took during preparation fitting and cleaning up afterwards. I would totally recommend him for any flooring work you need doing. David

Completely built new frame and door at rear and installed new hinges on front, realigning so it locked properly. Chopping out the old door frame caused some plaster/render damage, but Fitzroy repaired all damage on completion of the job, so very happy with the result. Even carried out a plaster touch up elsewhere in the shop at no extra charge. Recommended.

I am sorry to say that Fitzroy did not come up to standard at all. We asked him to do various bits of carpentry in a week before tenants moved in. His carpentry is okay, but he is very sloppy with finishing. He painted 2 window frames & covered our floor to ceiling new blinds with paint, had them dreadfully trimmed which further ruined them, and then refused to pay for new ones. He also dislodged the back of the loo, which caused extensive water damage to the flat below & again refused to rectify the problems he has caused. We also asked for bevelled edges which he forgot about & asked for access to pipes, again which he forgot. We asked him to make some doors for the meter cupboard which he did quite well. However, as per usual, he slapped paint all over the inside of the cupboard & over the hinges which was just sloppy & negated the good outside. He did rectify this. He promised to leave the flat in immaculate condition for the arrival of the tenants, he didn't & we had to clean the flat ourselves. He was consistently late, generally had a bad attitude and never ever took responsibility for his bad work. It was always someone else's fault which somewhat beggared belief as he was the only one doing the work. With a far better attitude, far better timekeeping, far better owning up to problems,and certainly not being so slapdash about finishing the job off to a high standard, he might be worth using. As he is at the moment, he is definitely not worth hiring.

Fitzroy was very helpful and was able to do this job at short notice for a reasonable price. Would be happy to hire Fitzroy again for any future work.
