FP Carpenter & Maintenance Services Limited reviews (287)

Fitzroy was great, he was on it from the start, always very organised. It was tricky finding someone to do the job, but it wasn’t a problem for Fitzroy and we’re very pleased with the result.

Fitzroy came promptly, assessed the issue quickly and accurately, and did an outstanding job fixing a wobbly joist that had been compromised by dodgy building work years ago. He used concrete to seal a solid foundation and jacked up the joist before fixing with timber. Everything feels so much more solid. Look forward to using his services again. Great chap!

Fitzroy did a good job - thorough and tidy. He was friendly and discussed his approach. The price was higher than my original budget - but it was fair (he was honest in what was required) and he showed the quality of his work. Our stairs were in a bad state - very unstable and creaky. Fitzroy secured them very well and it's a joy to walk up and down them now. He also made good the open areas that needed breaking to access the stairs. Our floor boards were also not great, some serious leveling issues but he worked out a solution and I'm happy with the result. The ply is also nicely fitted and you wouldn't recognise it now. Grateful for his hard work and would definitely use him again in future.

Carried out the work professionally.

Fitzroy was extremely helpful and responsive. He was able to perform an onsite quote within a day of making contact on a Thursday and completed the work to a very high standard that same weekend.

I had lots of different jobs that were needed to finish a kitchen installation & to make doors fit over a new carpet. Fitzroy was great - quick to respond, very good workmanship and completely cleaned up after the work so you’d never know there had been any mess. I’d definitely hire him again for more projects around the house. Thank you Fitzroy!

Fitzroy was prompt and very professional, friendly and polite.Finished the job in the time he said it would take, there were no hidden agenda or extra costs. Provided advise on a number of other projects we have planned for this year. I would not hesitate to recommend and use him again.

I found it difficult to find someone to hang doors for me, and double doors even more so. Luckily I found Fitzroy who has lots of experience. He would normally much prefer to do a preliminary visit to size up the door frames using his laser kit but I persuaded him to do it straight away as I was in hurry. He took everything in his stride despite the frame turning out to be well out of true, and I am very pleased with the results.

Excellent Carpenter friendly and reliable. He did a great job and was good at adding ideas and building the project! Recommended

A++++ Carpenter! I highly recommend Fitzroy who was prompt and very professional. He came for the job measured the space and fully explained how the job would be done and how long it would take. I had a good feeling about Fitzroy right from the beginning. This is the first time I have used Fitzroy and I have to say I was extremely happy with the work that he completed. He did not waste any time and he actually finished the job in the time he said it would take, there was no hidden agenda or extra costs. He was very honest and completely reliable in my opinion. I was struggling to find a decent professional carpenter / builder in the area who I could trust to do a brilliant job and Fitzroy did not fail to disappoint. Now that I have found Fitzroy I will definitely without a doubt continue to use his services!!! Amazing Job!! Thank you very much & I will be in touch soon!!!
