    Boiler not firing up

    what a great team good communication smart and efficient quick diagnostics new part back the next day to fit it left working just what you want.

    Remove fire

    Took out gas fire and rekeased a bird, put back fire.

    Shower Replacement

    Thoroughly impressed with Harry & Boilers 4 Essex - the job was scheduled quickly and easily, and Harry was professional, tidy and efficient - he kew exactly what needed doing and sorted it out with no fuss. Shower replaced, boiler serviced, and a couple of other minor things sorted with no issues at all. I wouldn't hesitate to use the company again - excellent.

    Leaking overflow pipe

    Work was ok and plumber and assistant were pleasant, but pricey for a simple job, overflow pipe from broken ball cock, arrived without replacement, they had to go to shops for parts. Were going to charge 2 hours labour, got it down to 1.5, over £160 was steep, shop around is my advice.

    Hi Damian, I’m glad we solved your issue and you was happy with the service we provided. Always nice to hear our engineers have done a good job 👍 With regards to price our minimum charges were quoted at the point of booking. £160 is a good price for the work you had done. If you break it down there isn’t really much left. £20 ish part, 20% vat, 20% tax, then bare in mind all the other running cost such insurances, gas safe registration and training, advertising (to name a few) are factored into the prices we charge. Any professional company does this and charges a similar rate. So as you can see not a great deal ends up in our pocket! Fact is you may have got a one man band to do it a bit cheaper for cash. But then they are not paying none of the above and you get none of the assurances we provide by doing things properly. A professional service with a proven track record and everything in place for your piece of mind is worth paying for 👍

    Gas Boiler Heat Exchanger issue

    Danny arrived on time and appraised the situation and gave me good honest advise....turned into a relatively big job which was undertaken efficiently ... All charges were advised comprehensively prior to the work being carried out no hidden extras when it came to payment which was quick and easy cards or bank transfer....I would not hesitate in recommending Boilers 4 Essex to any of my friends and family....on a final note, keep up the good work.....will be in contact soon regarding the wireless thermostat.....all the best...

    Hive Smart thermostart installation

    I got a qoute and went ahead to buy the material for the job, despite giving a very accurate description of the work, he got to mine and said he will charge me £320 instead of £120 qoute he gave me earlier. Work was not done because the new qoute was outrageous. I am a bit dissaponted with the his service.

    Hi, We gave you a rough estimate over the phone subject to a site visit. You said that you wanted to supply your own Hive and have it fitted to a combi system. What we we found when we attended was completely different. You had a multi zone system and had bought a multi zone hive kit. This is more complex and time consuming to fit. We gave you a free quote on site and you decided not to go with us. Thats perfectly fine we give free quotes for installation work and you are under no obligation to buy. We also attended you after our normal working hours for your convenience. Shows we go that extra mile! You did not hire us, so as I understand it you have no rite to leave a review on this platform. You are meant to review the quality of someones work, not the fact you didn't like a price on a free estimate. I will ask for this to be removed. Regards James Boilers 4 Essex
