We arranged a date and time for a video call during our telephone conversation. I called you at the agreed time for Alan to carry out the video consultation (please see attached proof). You did not answer, which contradicts your suggestion that the appointment was missed on our side. During our initial call, you were verbally discourteous. Following that conversation, I informed Alan that I preferred not to deal with you further, as our business reserves the right not to engage with individuals who are rude or disrespectful. Despite this, Alan proceeded with the scheduled video call. During that call, you continued to behave in a rude and dismissive manner and ultimately ended the call abruptly. You later requested a quote, but based on the interactions described above, I made the decision not to provide one, as we are not obliged to engage with clients who treat us in such a manner. Thank you for your feedback. While I appreciate your perspective, I do feel the review is somewhat unfair given the circumstances. I contacted you well before the scheduled appointment time to let you know we were experiencing unexpected delays, and I made it clear that our arrival would be later than originally anticipated. I also kept you updated throughout the day regarding our progress. Despite the challenges, I made every effort to honour the appointment, including arranging for someone else to collect my baby from nursery so that we could still attend your job. Ultimately, you chose to cancel when we were approximately 40 minutes away. During our conversation, you were unfortunately quite rude and stated your intention to leave a “damning review.” I apologised sincerely for the delay; however, unforeseen situations do occasionally arise, and we do our best to manage them professionally. For clarity, no work was carried out for this individual.
