This was our experience of Affordable Roofing Jamie was the most interested, enthusiastic and informative when quoting for the Job. Price was the best. Advises to use the best materials available. Always arrived when he said he would, weather permitting. Communication by text and on site was excellent. Cared about not damaging our property or our adjoining neighbours. Cared about the quality of his work, asked us to look at the work and took photographs for us to see. Thought about the job, communicated ideas and adapted plans as issues became evident. We had to coordinate two companies to remove and replace solar PV and Hot water panels, which Jamie worked with and supported. Team were also very good, careful, kept area as clean as possible. Access to power for some music while working and regular drinks help. They took very few breaks in the day. We have ended up with a really excellent job and our new roof is now compliant with the latest building regulations. Although very little if anything went wrong, Jamie was always very concerned, apologised and put it right e.g. a broken tile. When I asked for something to be done, it was e.g. protecting our new flat roof. Has very good relationship with scaffolding company, with scaffold removed next day after job completed. Probably not the easiest customer as I am interested, involved and check work. Some teams find this relationship difficult, but in the case of Jamie, seemingly not at all. Very professional job.

Jamie was on time, keep in touch when the job couldn't be done on the original date agreed. Was very pleased with the way Jamie communicated with me, keeping me up to date; the roof was completed to a high standard and we are very pleased with the look of the roof. Would recommend Jamie to others.

I hired aFORDable roofing for problems with the central gulley of a roof of a house that I own in Bristol. Being non resident and 200 miles away, I needed an honest detailed quotation. I obtained several quotations and this one was detailed with exact costings. During the work, I was kept informed of progress by photographs.

Jamie done a great job on my roof in slate tiles, he is to the point, honest and hard working. I recommend Jamie and his team to anyone.

Jamie and his team arrived on schedule. They re roofed a small rear extension and fixed a few tiles on my main roof.They worked hard all day to do a thorough job. They were curteous and cleaned up. A good job at a fair price.

After years of leaks and failed patchups, we finally decided to take the plunge and replace our aged feltless roof. Jamie's quote was the most competitive by a very long way, so I can absolutely confirm that his pricing is as affordable as the name of his company suggests. The roof replacement was complicated by the fact that we have a loft extension with two slightly differently sized dormer windows. However, with no small amount of creative problem solving, Jamie and his team managed to strip, felt, batten and retile all the required areas, as well as installing a dry hip and ridge system, leaving me in no doubt that we are watertight for the first time since moving in 7 years ago. The new roof looks great and we have received positive comments on its appearance from the neighbours. Jamie's team were very polite and the site was left clean and tidy. Jamie put a great deal of effort into getting this work completed to our satisfaction, and we very much appreciate it.

Good job, good price and nice guys too

The roof really needed an overhaul and had been causing problems for years due to its' 'butterfly' design..in particular ensuring that the rain water that collected in the middle of the roof was effectively transported through the loft and out in to the back guttering..if that makes sense. Anyway, Jamie came over and assessed the job and really took his time explaining what should be done, how best to do it and what the costs would be. He was extremely clear and patient and I felt very comfortable giving him the work. He arrived with two more lads and I have to say, they did a marvelous job! Completely re-battened the roof, new lining, did all the sides and chimneys...honestly it was like a work of art! The middle gully was re-built using fibre-glass rather than lead, which saved a few bob and it looks fantastic. More than that, it does the job perfectly! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jamie and his lads...always polite, always thoughtful and very trustworthy. 100% for effort and 100% for the quality of the work......Thanks lads. :-)
