    Damp, plastering & other work related to the area

    I got ripped off! Steve agreed to do some plastering & a Damp Proof Course with certificate. He promised to send me DPC Certificate (as agreed) but after getting paid he ignored my calls & has not sent me a certificate. Damp Proof Course doesn't look correct, as there are just empty drill holes in the wall. I can't the hold of him now. I am always a positive reviewer but DON'T GET RIPPED OFF LIKE I DID!

    Answer from tradesperson:

    You did recive the DPC certificate just a few days late as my partner was in hospital I did call and let you know this I have the txt you send back!! The work u wanted doing was at the cost of £1650 but u just wanted a botched up job costing you £350 as you were selling the property. I have plenty of happy customers and strive to be the best this was unfortunately a situation out of my control that I had to be at hospital and at my earliest convenience you received the certificate upon doing so you did say you would remove this negative feedback?? I have called you and e-mailed so has my builder but you choose not to answer so how can we correct this??? Cheers steve

    Boarding ceilings, maybe skim whole house

    Can't comment on quality of work as didn't turn up. Came and quoted for job. Hired and agreed to start Monday last. Then told me Tuesday. Turned up on Tuesday but left. Said he'd be back Monday. Didn't show on Monday and no reply to texts and phone calls. The other guys who quoted for the job on the same day are now booked up till after new year, so It's left me 3 weeks behind and unable to complete first fixes.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    All I can do is apologise I used a team of sub contractors that let me down as I was also very busy over the Xmas period . The sub contractors no longer work for me as a result of this sorry once again. Cheers steve

    Damp in hallway

    Excellent standard of work, job completed in a timely manner. Would use again and recommend for similar work.

    Ceiling plastering
    Very happy with Steve's work. He was quick to respond, competitive prices and great quality work. I'm definitely going to hire him again. :)

    hall stairs and landing

    had steve to plaster my hall/stairs @ landing steve gave me a fair quote for the job and really went out of his way to help me which is rare nowadays he was clean and tidy and i was pleased with his work could not ask for more brilliant

    Bathroom & living room replastering

    Very happy with the work. Steve and especially his colleague were really great. Will be asking them to come back to do hallway and dining room in the near future. Thanks guys for competitive pricing and quick turnaround.

    Re plastering 2 bedrooms

    Steve responded to the advert very quickly, and was at my property for a quote within 48 hours of me posting the job. His rates were very competitive and he arranged to come back 2 days later to complete the work. The decorators we had in after the work was done complimented Steve's work, we would not hesitate to recommend him.

    Need a chimney breast 1800 wide with 2 sides skimming, a boxed RSJ and 2 revels and part of top 3 walls. It's all prepped ready and bags of multi are on site. No more than a days work. There's more work after this for right trades man .

    Very happy with Steve, he turned up when he said and did a great job in a good timescale. I will defiantly use Steve again.

    Plaster Ceiling and re-plaster walls in room

    Look no further for a Plasterer. Posted the advert in My Builder and Steve quoted the same evening, which was the most competitive quote. Steve and Len both very experienced Plasterers arrived on time three days later when they promised on Saturday 4th July 2015. They both got stuck in right away working very hard to complete the job (Lounge - Plastered ceiling and re-plastered the walls) and cleaned up after them. I cannot fault their work the job is excellent the walls and ceiling are that smooth and look great it is a shame to paint them. Whenever I need any Plastering I would use them again, in my view they come highly recommended.

    One wall in lounge requires plastering
    After posting job for a wall to be plastered Steve contacted me and completed the job the next day. Very efficient, friendly and incredibly tidy. Really pleased with completed work. Would definitely recommend and hire for further works.
