feather edge fence for rear og garden
Answer from tradesperson:
The slabs that were laid before I arrived to install the fence had numerous irregular angles—approximately 30—running along the back of your garden. As we discussed, I agreed to do my best to achieve a straight fence line despite the condition of the slabs. I also called you outside during the work, showed you the pencil marks before cutting, and explained that the section in question was too far into your garden for me to correct without significant alteration. To bring the fence in far enough to match that angle, I would have needed to cut a substantial amount off multiple slabs, move the fence line even further inward, cut through your sleeper, and ultimately reduce the size of your garden. Given these circumstances, the issue was pre-existing, and I cannot take responsibility for a problem that was already present before my work began.
