John is one of the best tradesmen we have ever hired. 100% clean job. Looks after your home. Takes time to explain what he is doing. Happy to offer advice on other jobs. We will most definitely use him again.

John was very quick to respond and overall was great with his communication, his quote was very fair as I did my research beforehand, and on the day, with Colin his right hand man, did a fantastic job even when it turned out to be more tricky than first appeared! Both of them were great guys to be around, and did exactly what was promised and left everything clean and tidy, I am using John again for further work and would recommend him.

After having no electricity in my kitchen for 2 weeks I posted my job and John came to my rescue! I was amazed that he came out on a Sunday and did not charge ridiculous call out fee. Whilst John was here he was extremely professional and knew exactly what he was doing....he was very reassuring and friendly....by the time the job was sorted it felt like I was chatting to my uncle!! John rewired our cottage after quoting a price, it was not a straightforward job but John & his mate Colin worked very hard to complete the work and never missed a day. They even dismantled & refitted furniture & carpets to access wiring. I would have no worries in recommending John for work. He is very thorough, tidy & complies with all of the current electrical regulations.

John did a re wire of our house back in January and February last year and due to understandable unforseeable circumstances it was completed in may. It was at this point that John informed us that he was not napit registered as previously stated but was waiting for a new registration with elesca. After attempts at regular contacts to find out when this work could be certified, we were given various reasons about why it had not happened yet and were even told that we should just be patient (after six months!). Eventually we felt that we needed to move it forward and told John that if it was not completed in a short period of time then we would have to leave bad feedback. He then told us that he did not like threats and found me rude and aggressive. He then offered to certify it that week but only if my girlfriend was home alone or nobody in the house at all. She felt uncomfortable with both these options and therefore we decided not to go ahead with the certificate and even though we had already paid John we decided to pay for another electrician to do the certificate which passed with no problems.

John came to see me & provided me with a same day quotation, very pleased with work carried out and very precise & tidy worker, his mate Colin also very competant. Would have no hesitation in recommending John.

From quote to completion John was prompt, friendly and helpful. He kept in touch to confirm start date/time etc. Whilst doing the job he explained what he was doing and why, and ensured I was happy from beginning to end. He cleaned up after himself, finished in the time he expected/advised, and the extremely fair price quoted was the price I paid - with free advice and recommendations along the way! I will definitely use John again and will happily/highly recommend him to others.
