I hired Simon to board a section of my loft for storage, and also to fit a light. Simon has just completed the job and I am really pleased with the results - a quality job completed at a very reasonable price. Simon is very affable and talks through all aspects of the job and the various options, but you never get the feeling (as I have with other tradesmen in the past) that he's looking to add unnecessary work on. To the contrary, after discussing with me how I'd be using the space, we both agreed that the 'bells and whistles' that I was considering adding on were probably not going to be worth it in my case, and I really appreciated the honest assessment that he gave (when it would have been easy to roll the job out further). This kind of conscientious approach and the diligence he showed in carrying out the work at a time that suited me were refreshing. Also, there was no messing about - he turned up when he said he would and got the job done - and he was careful not to make any mess on the day (and even got the hoover out afterwards!). You should be able to expect these things, but sadly this is often not the case. I have already started discussing further work on my kitchen with Simon and would recommend him very highly!

How lucky were we to find Simon Farrell to fit our new kitchen? Not only did he make a superb job of the installation, he also helped us source a lovely kitchen. We were buying a kitchen from another supplier until Simon told us that he could arrange for us to buy a kitchen through Howdens that would not only be far better quality, it would also be cheaper and true to his word, it was both of those things! Simon's workmanship is second to none, he takes great pride in his work and isn't happy with anything less than perfection ensuring a excellent end result for the client. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and would have no hesitations in recommending Simon to any of our family and friends. It was a pleasure to have Simon in our home and the usual inconvenience of not having a Kitchen for almost two weeks was not an issue for us as we knew that it would be worth the wait. We are already planning our next job with Simon and can guarantee that he will be the first person we contact in future should we plan any more home improvements.

Simon is a very experienced builder. He always arrived on time, did the job he said he would do and always cleaned up and left everything tidy. His standard of work is excellent especially the attention to detail. Would definately use Simon again and would recommend him.

I would highly recommend Simon for any job, he is the most conscientious, hard working and committed builder we have ever hired. His attention to detail is second to none and his work ethic would be hard to beat. He rebuilt our utility and kitchen area and built some customised storage, he even did some little extras for us for no extra charge. The finish on the carpentry was excellent. He was a pleasure to have in the house and unlike other builders we have had in, it didn't feel like an invasion of privacy to have him around. We will definitely be hiring Simon again in the future.

We are very pleased with the job Simon has done. Good quality work, especially the loft ladder. We would certainly recommend him and would definitely use his services again.

Our project involved converting a useless space at the back of the garage which is now a perfectly formed kitchen, utility and wet room. Simon is a highly skilled tradesperson and delivered my plans with real enthusiasm and dedication from start to finish, which meant I never doubted the end result. Simon, promised me a fantastic kitchen and that’s exactly what I got, what he didn’t tell me was that the Wet room would be even better! An absolute professional who works hard to get the job done and we are grateful of the quality of work and finish he has achieved for us. I would highly recommend Simon and you can relax that you are job is in safe hands.
