Hi, I’m Helen — an experienced DIYer who has fully renovated two homes and developed a wide range of practical skills along the way. From fixing, fitting, and decorating to problem‑solving the unexpected, I’ve learned how to tackle real‑world home projects with confidence, care, and attention to detail. I now use those skills to help other people improve their homes, whether they need small repairs, decorating, assembly, or general handyman support. I will touch up any of my work that requires it. For example, new doors are kept bone dry in the warehouse and may swell when fitted into their new home due to the natural humidity in the air, this can cause issues with opening & closing the door within 2 weeks of fitting. This is a natural occurrence and not an error in the fitting. I would simply re-adjust the frame/ or the door once it has tuned to its new climate. There is no additional charge for this adjustment.
