The guy said he worked for the company building the cabins, telling me to cancel some of the things they sold as he would get it cheaper. On Wednesday, the day before the actual work, he called me in the evening saying if we could postpone till Saturday as a job had overrun. I said we absolutely couldn't as I was having family over and then off on holiday. I suggested he come half the day on Thursday after his other job was finished and we finish up on Friday if needed. He said he could do that and would bring another guy to speed things up, for the same price. He said he would get in touch early in the day to confirm when he was coming. On the day the work was supposed to take place, he never got in touch. I texted, called throughout the day, complete silence. I'm very disappointed at this outcome, as I had actually told another builder who'd reached out initially no as this guy apparently specialises in the types of buildings I'm looking to build. What a waste of time.
