As carrying out plenty of renovation work though out the years I have learnt to turn my hands not just to carpentry. I take pride in my work and like to think I have an eye for detail. I’m taking on work in and around the Ashbourne area travelling with a 25ish mile radius of Ashbourne Derbyshire. As mentioned I have experience of all things carpentry preferring second fix work doors, skirtings, kitchens, wardrobe/storage, enjoy doing maintenance work and also outdoor work decking outdoor buildings ect. I have recently relocated to Ashbourne as this is a first time looking for work my previous work has always been word of mouth.

From the first time I met Luke when he came to look at the work that I needed to be done, I was really impressed. He was so polite and helpful and extremely understanding of my situation. Due to the bad weather, the start date was a bit delayed so he offered to do the work on a Sunday in order to get it done as he realised it was important to me. He came this morning and did an absolutely amazing job on both the items that I needed dealing with and went the extra mile to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction before he left. We were so satisfied with his standard of work and the fact that he left everywhere clean and tidy that we have asked him to do several other jobs for us next year on a continuous basis. We would highly recommend Luke to anyone looking for someone to do a first class job.

Simon instantly responded to the request, he came round to look at the job within 24 hours and discussed the job with me at length giving excellent ideas. He hadn’t put a dog flap in a brick wall before but was more than confident to take on the job. Simon went over and above with his research and suggestions of materials to order and did all the research in his own time. Simon agreed to come and do the job as soon as the materials arrived even though he was really busy but he knew I was wanting the job done as soon as possible. Simon worked cleanly and quickly and with full confidence and has made an excellent job. He completed the job to a very very high standard and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him and I will certainly be contacting him again for future jobs I may need doing. First class worker

Probably wouldn't recommend. Arrived 45 minutes late with no text or call to warn us he was running late (my husband had left work early to accommodate the time). He then did a bit of a sub-par job, by leaving a small section of mouldy sealant on each side of the sealant section he did replace (the bit in the middle was replaced well and nearly hence 3 stars) but as many people will know, if you miss a bit then the mould will just grow back so we'll probably have to get this job done again in 6 months to a year now. Finally as the icing on the cake he charged a tenner more than agreed by message on the invoice and then chased twice for payment after less than 24 hours had passed.
