Tiled kitchen floor unfortunately didn’t go to plan. However, I would give this company credit for trying they returned twice more to replace cracking grout. Floor should have been fully boarded prior to tiling and was only partially boarded. At more expense to us we have had to physically remove all tiles and had the floor fully boarded and re floored without any further issues. Despite issues raised Company given 3 stars because during the problems they were very supportive and they tried to rectify the issues.

A small bedroom needed refreshing, plus dealing with some black mould, what actually turned out was a much bigger job than I expected. When the old wallpaper was removed - the plaster underneath was in terrible condition. Undeterred, Piotr stripped the whole room, from top to bottom, rep-plastered and repainted everything. He worked long hours and did a fantastic job. The room looks brand new. He left everything tidy and clean. He is highly professional and experienced, a true craftsman. He is a gem! I would recommend him any time.

Gary has completed the job I posted of making good and plastering 2 bedrooms and 1 living room. I found him to be an honest and extremely hardworking guy and his work has been of excellent standard. Gary will be the first person I call for any further work I need. If it’s not a job he can do he will certainly know someone that can although he does seem to be able to do most things! I have already referred him to 3 friends who need jobs doing because I would highly recommend him. I’m very pleased I chose him to do the job.

We can honestly recommend Fred Carr for any household repairs and especially for his deft plumbing work. He answered quickly, offered a very decent quote, started the next day and returned early to polish the results. The tasks included a leaking cistern, a basin needing a re-fix to a very flaky wall and the replacing of a kitchen mixer tap. All done in one go. Fred is energetic, polite, punctual, responsive and effective, a very nice presence around the house.
