Matt did a reasonable job but I would have preferred him to have taken more time over the project. To me he rushed the work, and it wasn't done properly. For the amount he charged and the short time he was at my home I thought he was expensive. He rushed the job due to child care issues. I would recommend him but ensure he has child care organised so he can concentrate on the job in hand. I was reassured by Matt that if there were any problems to call him and he would come and rectify the issue. Really I feel Matt shouldn't have taken the job as he obviously didn't know how to lay turf and the brick work doesn't look finished off to a good standard. This garden project should have been a straight forward days work, I am a pensioner and it has cost me dearly. Money i had to save out of my pension and it is still not finished off to a good standard. That is why I came to my builder but it is still sub standard. You should vet your workmen more rigorously. I am sad and disappointed.

Ben rang and came and quoted on the day after I posted on the website. Turned up promptly and gave a quote that was acceptable. Came the next day and did the work quoted for. Importantly he did not do a couple of things I thought needed doing as he said they were fine. Very tidy worker, cleaned up, polite and reccomended.
