Unlike some guys who just do what they are told to do but Ostap would advise you the best way to get things done. He is also responsive on messages and happy to answer any questions you might have. The job was to board up a broken UPVC window. Instead of screwing around the window, Lucas screwed directly into the frame, causing damage. I pointed this out, but he didn’t respond. He later emailed a photo of a handwritten invoice, but it was taken in such a way that when printed, either the top or bottom was cropped. I explained how to resend it in a printable format, as I need clear receipts for my business accounts, but he kept sending the same unusable image. Rather than correct this, he contacted the tenant and said he would remove the boarding due to non-payment, which caused the tenant distress. I never said I wouldn’t pay, despite the damage caused to the window frame. This point is written after reading what Lucas wrote. He lied about the tenant saying I did the same thing to her and he said he spoke to the tenant to find out what was going on which is not true. He phoned the tenant & told her that he was going to remove the board which would have left her property unsecure

I wasn't impressed. I had to fix the sink after far too much plumber putty was put in meaning water wouldn't drain but puddle in the sink. Then the sink was leaking from the waste pipe as it hadn't been tightened at all and again a stupid amount of putty everywhere. The tap is loose and not tightened. One door has holes drilled into it which don't line up with the handle, which he didn't tell me he had done or asked if i wanted (which i had decided i didn't want the handles on) Then the toilet that he fitted for me too was put on top of the flooring instead of the tile being cut, which i think he was going to do as i have drawings on the floor. Again the seat wasn't put on properly either so when my daughter went to use it first she fell off. It too was leaking and when i messaged about it and sent the requested photo and video i didn't get a response, he saw them and ignored me. Took my partner chasing him to get him to come fix it. This has caused ceiling damage in my kitchen below where it has leaked between the floor boards and caused bubbling in the ceiling paint. So i'm left with more work that i now have to sort out. Sorry, it pains me to be so negative, your a lovely guy but i can't recommend you or leave positive feedback. I'm lucky to have family who can rectify the damage but other people who you do work for may not be as lucky.
