I've clocked up thousands of hours of flatpack builds, including teaching flatpack assembly at IKEA, and I've completed over 1,000 flatpack tasks. I'm fast, methodical, and offer disassembly as well as assembly. I've also handled office and shop installations and removals for retailers and city firms across Leeds and Harrogate, so I'm comfortable with commercial jobs too. I'm a capable general handyman — I've carried out property maintenance and taught carpentry and building skills as a design and engineering teacher. Outdoors, I offer lawnmowing, strimming, hedge cutting, and light waste removal. I'm chainsaw-trained for logging and de-branching (ground and lower-level, not treetop), and I've done garden design and planning. Beyond the trade skills, I have a background in fine art and design. I've worked with artists Andy Goldsworthy and Antony Gormley, and spent eight years as an art technician at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds, handling permanent and travelling collections. That attention to detail carries into everything I build and fix. I've also worked on TaskRabbit for a number of years — see my reviews here: tr.co/richard-g I am happy to give an estimated quote for a job and I try to make sure that my pricing is competitive. However, I would ask not to shortlisted if im not going to be hired as it costs me between £5 and £10 to get details of a client to then not be hired and this can be very expensive. Kind regards Richard
