At present I'm a small time trader that's spent most of my working life working for others within the home building and renovation industry. In opening my account on here I am looking to go it alone providing honesty and quality in line with fair pricing. All of my current work comes from repeat and referred customers, I hope that shows faith that I care. I am a registered handyman on Safe Local Trades which is a highly vetted organisation established over 18years ago. Although most of my recent work has been out in customers gardens errecting fencing, sheds and decking. I'm just at home decorating indoors, repairing uPVC doors and windows, fixing garage doors and of course, pretty much anything carpentry.

I will not use Keith again and won't recommend his services to anyone else. I hired him to replace a defective door lock on the conservatory door of my rental property. He replaced the lock without discussing fees with me first, then sent me a bill of £170 which I negotiated down to £150. He agreed to this fees provided I give him a good review on MyBuilder. I initially did not mind. When I asked for an invoice, he claimed he would sent it over on Monday. I also did not think much of this as it was Friday evening. I paid him immediately and he has subsequently refused to send an invoice or a receipt for the payment received. This is misleading. I have waited for the receipt since 09 January. I should not have believed him. AN HONEST BUSINESS PERSON WILL ISSUE RECEIPT FOR PAYMENT RECEIVED.

I hate writing bad reviews but it kinda needs to be done as I would avoid Curtain rail wasn’t drilled into the wall paid £40 for 1 curtain rail which imo is expensive in first plac& it’s so lose on the wall. Kinda my fault for not checking before he left.he arranged to come back but never came on tue it doesn’t even look level to me. Said it was my curtain rail but my curtain rail was £50 & described as heavy duty so I don’t think it was the rail cause either way screws are not meant to be that loose into a wall. 2 out of 3 screws was loose could probably pull out of the wall. So so wobbly Edit to your reply; it took secondsto slide the sofa which is fair enough I should of done that befo & I agree you did ask for my bank details but I’d rather write a review for others than my money back. I assumed u meant the tue coming as 2 weeks to fix such a bad job just didn’t cross my mind. the screws was v loose & left it like that & still ask for the £40 knowing it was like that is crazy.
