My name is Simon and I'm offering a handyman service. I have been working in the Plumbing and heating sector for the last 18 years (sub contracting) whilst also renovating my own properties. I have a good range of general building skills including Plumbing, basic electrics , plastering carpentry etc. I have now started on my own taking on handyman jobs, specializing in those small jobs that it seems most tradesman aren't interested in. Knowing through my friends and family it is very difficult to find good honest tradesman to take on these tasks. I will consider any job no matter how small. (Picture hanging, shelving , flatpack or evan if you just need some help moving something!) And I will be honest if it is something I can help with. I am based in Trowbridge but will travel up to about half an hour to surrounding towns and villages. If there is something you need help with please give me a call and hopefully I may be able to assist.

Mitchell undertook electrical work which consisted of adding several sockets, removing & disconnecting 2 wall lights, moving one socket & 2 light switches and replacing an exterior flood light over the front porch with 2 coach lights on either side. The floor is screeded so cables had to be chased into very hard masonry walls. He was always on time, even when he came to do the quote, and got on with the job over the 2 days he carried out the work. He left each area clean and tidy before moving onto the next stage, and also at the end of each day. Nothing was too much bother and when asked for something else to be done, Mitchell would happily do it. He is a good communicator and we found him to be reliable, trustworthy and competent in carrying out the work. Not only I would I highly recommend Mitchell, but I have already asked him to undertake another job at a different premises for me and will be using him to carry out further electrical works for other clients I have in the future.

Barrie has been considerate and transparent throughout the process. He understood our original requirement and developed a solution that met our price range. The garage conversion has been finished to a high standard and we have no issues with the final spaces that has been created. In total the project took just over 2 weeks to complete all of the works, including a new French door, electrical sockets, insulation and plaster/paint. We have enjoyed having friendly faces pop in every day and would happily recommend them.
