Colin and team were initially hired to replace wooden floorboards with solid concrete floors in the downstairs hall and living room, and install a damp proof course. They did this quickly and efficiently for a fair price and we began to use them for other things too. It is quite a list but they raised the ceiling in the kitchen (was very low) to a much better height, creating a small new landing on the first floor complete with balustrade and steps into the bathroom. They created a new box toilet room in the hallway, levelled sloping floorboards in 2 bedrooms, carried out plastering work, fitted the bathroom, replaced the lead water pipe with a new blue plastic pipe, put in skirting boards, and managed a full replumbing of the house with other plumbers. This is not an exhaustive list, but we would recommend Colin and team for big or small work. Justin is a very hard-working and personable young man. The work he did was excellent and although slightly more than the original estimate, was well worth it. Dale Picken did an amazing extension for me May 2019. The building work was a 1st class job, finished immaculately and well within the time limit. He is a meticulous punctual worker, an early riser and stayed late in the evening if needed to get the job completed. I would highly recommend Dale and have him back again to do any building work.
